Kanye West Announces Fall Tour And Claims It Will Be As Inspiring As ‘Star Wars’- Will He Wear The Blue Contacts?

Kanye West is going on tour. The “Ultra Light Beams” rapper revealed his plans for the Life Of Pablo tour during an interview on the Steve Harvey Morning Show on Tuesday, Us Weekly reports. As West chatted with the comedian and talk-show host, he also declared that he wants the tour to inspire people the same way that George Lucas did with Star Wars.

“My tour game is unprecedented,” West, 38, said to Steve Harvey. “We’re gonna go out in September, I believe. We’re working on some of the ideas right now. I’m trying to literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me, the way, you know, when I saw the original Star Wars.”

Kanye released his most recent album, The Life Of Pablo, earlier this year at a star-studded fashion show/listening party at Madison Square Garden.

The recent phone interview with Steve Harvey touched on a lot of topics, including Kanye’s recent feud with fellow rapper, Wiz Khalifa. As Pitchfork notes, the beef started on Twitter back in January after Kanye hinted that his album would be called Waves. Wiz Khalifa apparently took offense to that and seemed to imply that Kanye was trying to appropriate the wavy sound from Max B, the rapper who originated it.

As you can imagine, Kanye did not like the implication and unleashed a torrent of angry tweets in response. Many claim that the tweet which really set him off was one that seemed to disrespect his wife, Kim Kardashian West.

“Oh n****s must think I’m not petty cause I’m the best that’s ever made music” Kanye West tweeted at the time. “Like, oh that’s Ye and I can put his wife’s initials on my twitter @Wizkhalifa”

Wiz soon clarified that the “kk” in his tweet was a reference to marijuana.

The feud escalated nevertheless, and Kanye went so far as to bring Khalifa’s son into it, claiming that he owned him because of his previous relationship with Wiz’s ex-wife, Amber Rose.

Now, with a couple months of hindsight behind him, West told Steve Harvey that he’s sorry about his Twitter tirade.

“Everyday I actually feel more deeply, deeply, deeply apologetic about that, because I only want to put out positive, positive, positive concepts,” West said.

Now, one has to wonder if those positive concepts will lead Kanye to wear blue contacts. At the recently held Met Gala, Kanye decided to extend his fashion statement to his eyes by rocking ice-blue contacts along with a bedazzling over-sized denim jacket and ripped blue jeans. His wife, Kim Kardashian West, was more appropriately dressed for the gala’s “Fashion Meets Technology” theme. She wore a silver Balmain gown with striking, dark makeup and slicked back hair.

As E! Online reports, when asked why he decided to wear blue contacts that night, Kanye’s response was simple.

“Vibes,” he said.

Kim Kardashian was a bit more descriptive of her Balmain look, calling it “blingy, sexy robot.”

But on Twitter, which is obviously Kanye’s preferred communication platform, the rapper was pretty talkative about the fact that he and Kim were named the best-dressed couple at the Met Gala.
