Kristen Stewart ‘Embraced Robert Pattinson At Met Gala’: How Did FKA Twigs React?

While things could’ve easily gotten awkward between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson following their run-in at the Met Gala, sources reveal that the twosome were rather happy to see one another.

Robert, who had attended the event with his fiancee FKA Twigs, were said to have been surprised to see Stewart at the fancy costume event, deciding to show up without her alleged girlfriend Stephani “Soko” Sokolinski.

One report recalls the moment Pattinson and FKA Twigs crossed paths with Kristen Stewart, who didn’t seem uncomfortable in the slightest. In fact, the actress was in a rather good mood as she walked over to the couple and openly embraced them before engaging in a brief chat.

“[Kristen] was just overjoyed to see Rob. They both were happy to see each other. It had been such a long time. Kristen and Rob gave each other a big hug. Rob and Kristen were genuinely happy to see each other. Maybe a little too happy for Tahliah’s liking.”

Robert Pattinson reportedly hasn’t seen Kristen in years. While they have attended the same events in the past, sources alleged that the two would go out of their way to avoid an awkward run-in, but it seems as if their differences have been put aside, and both of them have happily moved on with other partners.

An insider at the Met Gala did go on to mention that FKA Twigs was left puzzled when she first noticed Kristen walking over to her, unsure of what was about to happen. But Stewart, who seemed in a rather happy mood, certainly didn’t approach the British-singer with any ill intentions — they had a brief chat and kept on walking to their table.

This is the first time Kristen and FKA Twigs have embraced one another so intimately. The fact that they allegedly spoke with one another has even gone on to surprise fans, especially since many can recall the time Stewart so desperately hoped she could win Robert Pattinson back.

Having found it hard to accept the split from the Twilight actor, Kristen eventually accepted that her infamous actions that saw her hooking up with formerly married director Rupert Sanders were unforgivable in more ways than one.

While Robert is believed to have taken Kristen back following the secret affair, he eventually decided that the relationship couldn’t move forward over his trust issues that stemmed from Kristen and Rupert’s ongoing affair behind his back.

The good thing that has come out of this situation is that both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have happily moved on and found partners they are very much in love with. The fact that the former couple can run into one another at these events and engage in conversations just shows how far Kristen and Robert have come.

Sources believe that this may have finally squashed any beef that Stewart may have had with FKA Twigs following the announcement she was dating the British actor.
