Lady Gaga Leaves Taylor Kinney At Home To Rock Out At Met Gala 2016
Lady Gaga left her fiance Taylor Kinney at home to strut her stuff at Met Gala 2016. Seeing how she has been inseparable from Taylor since her engagement, her solo display was a little surprising to the fans. Are Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney having some couple issues?
Probably not. Not only is the Met Gala invitation only, the guest list is carefully vetted by Anna Wintour, the Vogue Editor-in-Chief. So it’s probably likely that Taylor Kinney didn’t make it on the list due to his lack of sartorial bravery.

“Going slightly vintage Gaga, she showed up in a Versace jacket that evoked a circuit board, gravity-defying platform heels and shoulder pads and big hair that was more than a little ’80s,” reports Time. “The outfit had both its critics and its fans, but love it or hate it, it’s a welcome shift to see Lady Gaga walking on the wilder side again after more classic looks on the red carpets at the Oscars and Golden Globes this year.”
Seeing how the singer-activist is known for walking the fine line between tacky and avant-garde, she definitely made the fashion critics excited with her pantless choice this year.
But her performance didn’t get there on the red carpet of Met Gala 2016. She gave a surprise rendition of Talking Heads’ song, “Burning Down the House” at the after party, which made everyone super ecstatic.

“Ater Lady Gaga walked the Met Gala red carpet, she complemented her rock and roll hair with an electric guitar and a Talking Heads cover,” reports MTV. “Fans spotted Mother Monster taking on “Burning Down the House” with Mark Ronson at the Met Gala afterparty. She’d changed from her laser-cut Versace getup into a more ergonomic black-and-white outfit for the show and played a guitar that (naturally) matched.”
Just because she is having a ball on the east coast, that doesn’t mean that she has forgotten all about her fiance Taylor Kinney. Just about a week ago, she posted a picture of herself carrying beautiful bouquet to give him a little surprise.
And right before that, she didn’t hesitate to Instagram her motorcycle adventures with her boyfriend and his bike gang.
“The Poker Face hitmaker joined her fiancé Taylor Kinney and his motorbike gang for a trek around California,” reports Daily Mail. “Joining her beau’s rough and ready pals on the road, Gaga took several snaps of her and her crew as they stopped along the way to enjoy a beverage and soak up the sun.”
In fact, her super secretive wedding may be upon us soon! She recently hinted at it when she was asked about her plans. Seeing how Lady Gaga is known for her high production value concerts, the interviewer was probably imagining something similar in scale.
But the 30-year-old singer told Ryan Seacrest that she is looking to have something that is much more close to home. “We are not planning anything that is worth writing about,” she said according to ELLE.

She also just celebrated her birthday with her fiance and many other famous Hollywood stars.
“This Saturday, Lady Gaga definitely celebrated her 30th birthday with Taylor Swift, Chrissy Teigen, et al. And she maybe celebrated something else,” reports ELLE. “Her (secret) marriage to fiancé Taylor Kinney. The two were photographed wearing matching gold bands at the party, with Gaga’s in place of her engagement ring.”
