On tonight’s new episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Jessa and Ben Seewald are in El Salvador to see Jill and Derick Dillard. Us Magazine shared a preview for the new episode, and Jessa revealed that she is a bit worried about traveling to this area with her young son, Spurgeon. Things are a lot different there than they are in the United States.
In this new preview, Jessa talks about how difficult it is for her to head down there. Things are a lot different in El Salvador, and that is part of the reason that Jill and Derick are there.
Here is what Jessa revealed in the preview.
“I love visiting with Jill and Derick and getting to see what they’re doing here. It’s not easy — I’ll just say that. It’s difficult. It’s not like back home. There’s a lot of violence here. You have to be careful about the water that you drink. There are all kinds of snakes and scorpions and tarantulas and cougars! And just a lot of things that could worry you, especially as a mom.”
Of course, Jessa’s sister Jill is dealing with these things every single day while she is raising her son Israel. Jessa will only be dealing with this for a short time while she is there visiting her sister. Several of the other Duggar girls are going on this trip as well. It doesn’t sound like you will be hearing that Jessa Duggar Seewald is moving down there in the future.
In the preview for tonight’s new episode, Jill Duggar Dillard is talking about how they are getting ready for a woman’s conference they will be having. The ministry does this every year, and Jill now has her family there to help set this up. Jessa shares that when you are down there most of the buildings don’t have air conditioning.
Jill explains that a lot of the women in the area live in mud huts and they walk everywhere. She shared that a lot of families are broken and don’t get a lot of help. While working in El Salvador, Jill is able to work alongside them and support them. This woman’s conference is a great thing for the ladies in the area.
People also shared a preview where Jill takes Jessa and shows her around the house that they are living in while they are in El Salvador. Jessa shared that this house reminds her of her little house she shares with Ben. Jessa and Ben actually live in the house that Josh and Anna lived in when they first got married. It is about the same size as the house that Jessa and Ben live in, but Jill’s house doesn’t have air conditioning in it. They do have two extra rooms that they are able to set the family up in for while they are visiting. It looks like they are all going to enjoy the visit with Jill and Derick.
