Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner may have revived their relationship over New Years, but when Harry allegedly cheated on the stunning supermodel with a London stylist, according to the Sun, everyone generally assumed they were off.
"The romp [between Harry and a stylist] came after seemingly loved-up Harry and Kendall revealed to the world that they were a couple in late December as they kissed and cuddled on a Caribbean holiday in front of photographers."Hendall did not die for long: last month it was reported that Harry and Kendall were meeting secretly and that Harry was trying to win the supermodel back. Not only that, it was rumored that Harry was "begging Kendall to go public" with their romance, according to the Mirror.
"Kendall is holding back because she doesn't trust Harry enough to commit to him. Especially with the whole world watching.A Kendall Jenner pal told People magazine that "[Kendall] really likes Harry but he's like any other young rock star and has trouble committing."
Many Harry-lovers and Kendall-watchers had indeed wondered if the pair are a good fit: Kendall is said to be looking for a committed relationship, whereas Harry has previously hinted that he feels he is too young for a serious girlfriend.
In addition to that, the attractive pair seem to be very different temperamentally: Kendall is a reality TV star who runs in very materialistic circles, while Harry Styles has demonstrated that he has a hipster, bohemian streak, a sensitive soul, and a rock star's love of freedom and experimentation.
Harry Styles' hipster side was previously explored in a piece by The Inquisitr. One of the factors cited was Harry's love of Club Habana, a cafe inspired by revolutionary Cuba. Club Habana is owned by Harry's close friend Rande Gerber, who is married to Cindy Crawford.
Cindy has joined Harry and Rande at Club Habana in the past, and the couple have even introduced Harry to their stunning daughter, Kaia.
Styles was also seen dining with Cindy and another close friend, James Corden, in recent weeks. While Kendall has never been seen alongside Harry at his favorite venue, there is a chance the pair have been double-dating with Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford.
Cindy took time out to pose with Kendall at the star-studded Met Gala today, and the images of the two stunning supermodels, wearing glamorous long dresses, were soon splashed across tabloids around the world, including the Daily Mail. The mag even hinted that Cindy treated Kendall as her "protege" and took the young brunette "under her wing."
Many on social media were impressed: "Elegance is a theme if you are a Harry Styles girl," wrote one person, sharing a pic of Kendall and Cindy.Could the pair have met before? Perhaps Harry Styles is edging Kendall out a little, taking her to the cool venues he frequents, as part of a plan to make Kendall a supermodel worthy of a rock star!
Kendall wasn't the only one who made waves at the Met Gala. Harry's ex-One Direction band-mate Zayn Malik and Kendall's supermodel buddy Gigi Hadid arrived wearing daring ensembles befitting the theme of the Anna Wintour event, which was "Fashion in an age of technology."
The Daily Mail called it Zayn and Gigi's "red carpet debut" as a couple. Zayn made a splash wearing a suit and armored sleeves reminiscent of the metal arm given to Anakin Skywalker when he becomes Darth Vader in Star Wars.
Gigi Hadid wore a long dress with metallic details on the bustier and choker. Her fingers were decorated with metallic accessories that echoed the Robocop-ish panels encircling Zayn's arms.
Perhaps Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik will bond at the Met Gala after-party. If the supermodels manage to get Harry and Zayn to become friends again, as Hollywood Life says they are planning, Harry Styles could have two friendly couples to take stunning Kendall to double dates with.(Photo by Joel Ryan/Invision/AP)
