Farve make up your mind already

Over the pst three or four years, NFL fans have been subjected to the Brett Farve drama, and really enough is enough already. If Brett thinks he can still play, fine, however the constant melodrama following this guy is rather sickening. fueled by that four letter network E-S-P-N each off season we have to talk about will Farve be back or not.

Once again if Farve thinks he can still play, and some team is willing to give him a contract then so be it. Really the more this goes on the more Farve hurts is own legacy. On top of that Farve may want to start considering that since he will not go down as one of the five best QB’s in the history of the NFL.

No matter what ESPN says Joe Montana, John Elway, Dan Marino, Tom Brady, and Johnny Unitas are always going to be considered better QB’s then he. Some may argue that he is in the top ten, but if he continues this mindless football diva act each and every summer the fans will turn on him.

On top of that by signing with Minnesota in an obvious attempt to get back at his former team, the Green Bay Packers, he risks eroding whatever good will he has with his core fans. Each and every time we see Farve retire cry and talk about his love for the game, only to resurface the next summer Farve erodes chunks of his legacy. Since his legacy may not get him remembered as a top ten QB in the history of the NFL, maybe it is time for Farve to simply go away.
