Ariana Grande Tones Down Sexy New Song For Radio Disney Music Awards

Ariana Grande has a sexy new style and sound for her upcoming album, Dangerous Woman. In fact, the new album is expected to be a whole lot sexier than her previous works. But the singer had to tone down her sultriness for her recent performance at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards.

Ariana Grande, 22, took over the stage in an oversized black fur coat and a black strappy dress. She paired her sizzling look with her signature half-up ponytail, a diamond necklace, pantyhose, and thigh-high suede boots for the family-friendly show. Grande still stuck to her guns while performing her new song “Dangerous Woman,” which is off of her forthcoming album of the same name. She even had to change up some of the risqué lyrics even though they’re not necessarily vulgar in nature.

Not only did she perform at the RDMAs, but she also won an award for Best Song to Dance to for her hit single “Focus.” Ariana was not the only one who had a big night at the Radio Disney Music Awards. Her pal and pop contemporary Taylor Swift snagged three awards for Song of the Year (“Bad Blood”), Best Breakup Song (“Bad Blood”), and Most Talked About Artist.

The Radio Disney Music Awards took place on April 30 but were broadcasted on the Disney Channel on Sunday, May 1. Ariana Grande had her very own fan at the awards ceremony. Jordan Smith, winner of Season 9 of The Voice, said that he was looking forward to seeing the pop star perform.

“Ariana Grande is gonna kill it – I can’t get over how great she is,” he gushed to the reporters on the red carpet.

Grande has been a hot social media target lately. The former Nickelodeon star was called out by a fan, who called her a “w**re” on Facebook for wearing sexy black lace lingerie in her new video for “Dangerous Woman.” Grande was quick to defend herself and called the so-called fan out for his misogynistic remarks. And now in a new interview with the Britain’s Sunday Times Style section, she continued to voice her opinion on female empowerment.

“Women can be anything. Are you a good girl or a bad girl? No! I’m a good girl, I’m a bad girl, I’m innocent, I’m sexy, I’m smart, I’m funny – I’m everything. Whatever I feel like wearing that day, it doesn’t define me. It defines what mood I’m in. That applies to all women.”

The singer said that she credits her Italian-American family for her empowered spirit and confidence to face the constant double standards that still exist in both the music industry and in society.

“How you’re raised plays a huge part in how you survive this industry,” she added. “Or how long you can survive.”

Now Ariana Grande is super focused on her third studio album, which is set to drop on May 20. Ariana revealed another trait that she’s picked up from her family that has a lot to do with her work ethic.

“It’s in our blood. I don’t know if I’m a workaholic or if it’s obsessive, but it’s one or the other. Or both.”

Grande has been tirelessly promoting her new album on her social media accounts. She’s even teased snippets of her songs on Twitter and Snapchat. Now there’s clips of Grande’s new song “Into You” going viral on social media. It’s been rumored that this song could be the next single slated for release on iTunes on May 6. So far, Grande has only released the first visual from “Dangerous Woman.” Will there be more, or does she plan to move on from that single?

Check out the snippets below.

In case you can’t listen to the clips, “Into You” is a synth-pop jam that’s totally different from “Dangerous Woman” and “Be Alright.” It takes you back to the early 2000s bubblegum pop era.

“A little less conversation and a little more touch my body / ‘Cause I’m so into you,” you can hear Ariana crooning in the song.

As you can see, Ariana Grande’s fans all already obsessed with the song and can’t wait for Dangerous Woman to drop.
