Gwen Stefani Gushes Over ‘Talented’ Boyfriend Blake Shelton Amid Pregnancy And Engagement Rumors

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton attended the Radio Disney Music Awards over the weekend, and while there, Gwen Stefani gushed about her man.

As she received the Hero Award, Gwen Stefani spoke of her upcoming duet with Shelton, who she labeled “talented” and “amazing.”

“I am excited because I never in my wildest dreams thought I would write a song with that guy,” Gwen Stefani explained to E! News, according to a May 1 report. “He’s so talented. He’s an amazing writer. Every time I collaborate with anyone I feel like it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Whenever I collaborate, it lifts me.”

Also during the event, Gwen Stefani sang her hit track “Make Me Like You,” which was inspired by Shelton and their romance.

Gwen Stefani and Shelton co-wrote a song together at the end of last year titled “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” and the song will be released later this month.

“We were at a point where it’s like, ‘Do we want to go there? What will people think?’ And then we finally just got to the point where it’s like, ‘You know what? I don’t give a s***,” the country star told People Magazine last month.

According to Shelton, he loves the song he and Gwen Stefani wrote together, and because they created it as a couple, it’s even more special. That said, Shelton was a bit nervous to get into the studio with his flame.

“I think [Gwen Stefani] has a smaller circle too when it comes to writing, and the fact that we went there that early as we were getting to know each other, it’s just remarkable,” Shelton said. “As different as we are musically, we’re a fan of the same type of songs. We have these playlists that we send each other that are stuff that we loved growing up and they’re so similar, so I think it made it easy for us to collaborate.”

Gwen Stefani and Shelton began dating last year after their divorces from Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, respectively, and they went public with their romance in November 2015. At the time, Gwen Stefani and Shelton were midway through production on The Voice Season 9, in which they both appeared as coaches.

“I’m intimidated by Gwen all the time,” Shelton continued to People Magazine. “Any time I take a step back and think, ‘Wow, to me she’s Gwen, but she’s Gwen Stefani, you know what I mean? It’s like a self check every now and then. Whoa, I’m hanging out with literally the coolest girl in the world and I get to hang out with her. Just having a meal with her sometimes, it’s like, ‘Whoa, that’s her sitting up there!”

Since Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s relationship began, the couple has made their love for one another no secret. In addition to debuting their relationship on the red carpet at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party in February, they’ve also been seen out in Los Angeles and in Shelton’s hometown in Oklahoma.

In other news about the happy couple, Gwen Stefani is rumored to be both pregnant and engaged. On May 2, Australia News Network reported on the recent rumors and noted that Shelton wants children of his own. The outlet also claimed he and Gwen Stefani were living as a family but staying mum on reports regarding their possible family planning.
