‘That’ ’70s Show’ Cast Reunites On ‘The Ranch’

Stars from That ’70s Show recently reunited on the set of Netflix’s The Ranch for a mini get-together. A few days ago, Danny Masterson posted an Instagram photo where the gang from Point Place, Wisconsin, was almost complete.

The two stars of The Ranch, Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson, were joined by their former That ’70s Show co-stars Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderrama, and Laura Prepon.

That ’70s Show was a sitcom that aired on Fox from 1998 to 2006, about a bunch of teens living their lives in the fictional town of Point Place, Wisconsin, in the ’70s. The show also starred Topher Grace, who was absent during the mini reunion.

Valderrama posted the same picture to his Instagram account, saying that he, Prepon, and Kunis visited the stars of The Ranch for the taping of their season finale. Does this mean that Prepon, Kunis, and Valderrama will be making an appearance in the original Netflix series?

In January, as reported by ET Online, Masterson said that he hopes that some of his co-stars from That ’70s Show would make an appearance in The Ranch sometime in the future. Mila Kunis, who is married to Ashton Kutcher, made an appearance in Two and a Half Men in 2014, so she may be inclined to do another guest appearance in another series where her husband stars. “She’d do it for me if I asked her nicely,” said Masterson. “Not for me, not so much,” Kutcher jokingly said.

Kutcher also shared his opinion about an onscreen reunion of That ’70s Show and said the following.

“‘That ’70s Show‘ is a nostalgic show. I think it was nostalgic as it was being made, and now it’s nostalgic for a different reason. And I just don’t know that anything that we’re going to do that would be new would be better than what we did. And when you run that risk, I think it’s better to leave things alone.”

In The Ranch, Kutcher and Masterson play brothers who live in a ranch in Garrison, Colorado. The first 10 episodes of the series were released on April 1, and the second part of the first season will be released later this year. The Ranch, so far, has mixed reviews from critics, but it has already been renewed for a second season, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. Ashton Kutcher shared the good news on his Twitter account with a short video with Masterson and their onscreen father, Sam Elliott.

It’s clear that the stars of That ’70s Show have remained in touch even if they are busy with their own projects. Mila Kunis has starred in several movies, Wilmer Valderrama is currently a guest star on Grey’s Anatomy, and Laura Prepon is busy with her role as Alex Vause in Netflix’s Orange is the New Black. Despite their busy schedules, the cast makes it a point to see each other once in a while.

As reported by ET Online, last year, Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, and Mila Kunis celebrated Wilmer Valderrama’s 35th birthday. Last December, the three guys posted for an Instagram picture with Danny simply captioning the photo, “Fam.” In 2013, the gang was complete in another photo posted by Masterson.

Do you think Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderrama, and Laura Preppon will be appearing in The Ranch? Or were they just on-set showing support to their former co-stars? Share your thoughts below.
