“Still a baby.”

The pop princess is meanwhile in the middle of a legal dispute between her and her former manager. Brit has a deposition on Monday in regards to the case. The Daily Mail relays details about the suit being brought against Spears by Sam Lufti.

“The singer is said to have spent the night in the lot after she lost custody of her two sons to her ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2007. The claims were made in court documents filed at the California Court of Appeals after her ‘one-time manager’ Sam Lutfi alleged he is owed ‘unpaid earnings’. The papers state she was ‘struggling with abuse’ at the time. The star had recently been through a messy divorce and was said to be estranged from her parents.”

Spears’ team filed papers that detailed her struggle following Sam’s allegations that he has verbally agreed to manage the star if she would stop using substances in the later part of 2007. Lufti reportedly performed a variety of duties including staying at her house, arranging parties, and dealing with paparazzi. He was also responsible for buying items for the star. His duties ran through until February 2008.

The court documents from 2015 that are believed to have been refiled state that “On October 1, 2007, Britney lost legal custody of her infant sons.” More details in the court documents are noted by the publication.

“She spent a night in a parking lot, then called Sam and told him he was one of the few people she trusted. That night, he moved into her home. With the exception of a brief period in December 2007, Sam lived in Britney’s home until February 1, 2008.”

The breach of contract suit was filed when the friendship between Lufti and Spears broke down. The former manager’s team is now preparing to depose the pop star.

The Hollywood Reporter notes additional information in regards to the case.

“He contends that he only agreed to manage Britney if she got clean and granted him 15 per cent of her earnings during the time he was her manager. He claims that this did not happen. Appeals court judge Victoria Chavez told the jury they must determine what the agreement between the pair was. She said: ‘It is a factual question for the jury to determine whether an oral contract was formed between Sam and Britney, and if so, to interpret the material terms of that contract.'”
