Jennifer Lawrence: Dating Life Sucks But Can’t Wait To Get ‘Married’
Jennifer Lawrence is not letting the paparazzi get the first word on her dating life. Hunger Games star talks openly about her dating life so that she can be the first one to say that it sucks. Looks like she is taking initiative on the rumors that spin off of her.
“Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t keep a straight face when she was asked about her love life at the Thursday, April 28, premiere of her latest project, the IMAX film A Beautiful Planet, which she narrated,” reports Us Weekly. “In a clip from Extra’s on-camera interview, AJ Calloway asks the 25-year-old Hunger Games star about the latest developments in her romance dating life.”
When he asked about her relationship status, she answered comically, “What dating life?”
“It’s really sad,” Jennifer added. “I haven’t felt the touch of a man in …”
Winning an Oscar for Best Actress when you are 21 and doing super famous blockbusters like X-Men, Hunger Games and the like means that it may be tricky for men to approach her.
But she knows that is not her problem, but the men’s.
“No one ever asks me out,” Jennifer Lawrence said to Vogue. “I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am.”

Good thing that the 25-year-old actress will not put up with guys that are not nice to her. At least her dating life is on the slow side because she chooses it to be.
And Jennifer is humorous about it! In the same interview with Vogue, she toasted and said, “Cheers to my hymen growing back!”
But that doesn’t mean that the Oscar-winning actress has not been trying. She has dated Chris Martin of Coldplay for about a year and before that Nicholas Hoult, her co-star in X-Men movies. Since the Coldplay singer though, Jennifer Lawrence has not been able to find a guy that isn’t threatened by her fame, presence, talent, and wealth.

Like any other girl, she dreams of the day that she will find that one true love.
“I can’t wait to be married,” she said to Vogue. “I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not f**k it up.”
On the other hand, the 25-year-old Hollywood star knew that finding that one person and having children is not a given. She added, “But I’m also not banking on that.”
To get her mind off of her bad dating life, she is channeling her efforts on decreasing the gender wage gap in Hollywood, as well as working on the public’s outrageous standard on a woman’s body.
“There’s so many different ways to be beautiful,” she said according to Cosmopolitan. “Amy and I are always laughing about it. Everyone always talks about us like, ‘Look, plus-size actresses!’ Our idea of what is curvy is, like, so bizarre.”
