Melania Trump Angered By GQ Interview, Magazine Reveals Secret Half-Brother

Donald Trump’s third wife Melania Trump aired disappointment over GQ‘s feature about her. As the presidential race is heating up, the former model hinted that the publication has an ulterior motive in publishing the article about her.

With the business tycoon’s bid for the highest office in the United States, many are also quite interested to know more about the woman who may one day become the First Lady. GQ addressed this curiosity by detailing her early life, how she meet The Apprentice host, and her thoughts on possibly becoming the next First Lady as well her political stance.

However, Melania Trump was not pleased with her GQ profile. The furious former model called out writer Julia Ioffe in a lengthy Facebook post saying that the journalist had an ulterior motive for doing the feature. She even stated that the article “is yet another example of the dishonest media and disingenuous reporting.”

The Slovenian model said the feature had a lot of inaccuracies, particularly regarding her personal and family life. She also claimed that her “parents are private citizens and should not be subject to Ms. Ioffe’s unfair scrutiny.”

The GQ article detailed the existence of Melania Trump’s half-brother named Denis Cigelnjak, her father Viktor Kanvs’ son with his former flame Marija. Cigelnak is now 50 years old but has reportedly never met his dad.

Ioffe revealed that she asked Donald Trump’s third wife about her half-brother, but she dismissed the matter during the interview. However, when court documents regarding paternity and support were later on furnished to her, Melania Trump claimed she has known about her brother for years.

The former model added she misunderstood the question early on. She also asked to respect her father’s privacy since he is a private person.

The 46-year-old mother of one also claimed in the post that the account of her skin care collection’s performance is completely false. She said, “The company in which I was involved with did not honor the contract and did not meet their obligations and as such the courts ruled in my favor.”

“I am hopeful that the media will begin to cover me fairly and be respectful of my family’s privacy,” Melania Trump stated about the GQ article.

Regarding politics, the former model said she did not want to meddle with her husband’s political ambition or involve herself on the issue of immigration. “I chose not to go into politics and policy,” she told the publication. “Those policies are my husband’s job.”

The glamorous model, born Melania Knavs, said she has her political opinions, but she only shares it with her husband. She shared, though, that when Donald Trump talked about aiming for the presidency, she cautioned him to be sure about what he was doing.

“When we discussed about it, I said he really needs to make sure he knows he really wants to do it, because life changes,” the former model said.

She also revealed that she aspires to be like Jackie Kennedy if she becomes the next First Lady. When asked about the causes she plans to support, the former model boasted that she is already involved in many charities involving children and diseases.

Melania Trump also denied having plastic surgery saying, “I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life; I take care of my skin and my body.” She claimed she was strongly against botox because of the damage it may cause to her face.

During the interview, the former model revealed Donald and her father are very much alike. She said both men are hardworking, very smart and very capable.

“They grew up in totally different environments, but they have the same values, they have the same tradition,” she continued, explaining the trait she loved about her husband.

Despite what her detractors say, Melania Trump said she was proud of her roots. Her son Barron is fluent in Slovenian and speaks the language with his grandparents, who now live near their home.
