Ben Affleck Is Trying To Convince Jennifer Garner To Give Their Troubled Marriage Another Chance [Report]

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have gone through a lot since announcing their divorce last summer. From living together for the sake of their family to controversial interviews, the two appeared all but set to finalize their split. However, despite all the drama, Affleck is reportedly trying to reconcile with Garner. Will the two call off their divorce? Or are they doomed to separate?

According to Design & Trend, an inside source revealed that Affleck is hoping to get back together with Garner while the family lives in London while he is reprising his role as Batman in Justice League. Apparently, the Batman v Superman star has not given up on his marriage, despite Garner’s insistence that it’s over.

“Ben is hoping his summer movie shoot [for Justice League] in London will give him the opportunity to convince Jen to give their marriage another chance… Jennifer has told Ben flat-out that there is no chance she will take him back, but he just refuses to take no for an answer.”

While Garner appears ready to follow through with the divorce, she and Affleck have remained on good terms. In fact, the two are still living together and have been spotted in public with their kids on several occasions. Most recently, the Daily Mail is reporting that the family was seen attending a church service in their local community in Pacific Palisades.

“I grew up going to church every Sunday of my life, and when I did move to L.A., it wasn’t something that was just part of the culture in the same way, at least in my life,” Garner revealed. “So it was a great gift of this film [Miracles from Heaven] that it took us back to finding our local Methodist church and going every Sunday. It’s really sweet.”

The family was spotted as they made their way to and from the church service. By all outside appearances, everything looked perfectly normal between the two stars.

Meanwhile, Garner and Ben Affleck are reportedly getting ready to move temporarily to London while he works on Justice League. According to Movie News Guide, Garner agreed to make the move, though some have speculated that she is using the opportunity to find another husband.

After all, Garner would certainly have a wide selection of men to choose from in London. So far, fans have already speculated that she might try and get with Theo James or even Tom Hiddleston.

However, Gossip Cop recently debunked the idea that Garner is searching for a man in London. Although she is joining Affleck as he makes the move overseas, her motivation centers more on the well-being of her children than anything else.

“The main thing is these kids — and we’re completely in line with what we hope for them,” Garner told Vanity Fair. “Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter’s wedding. But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you’re going to be friends with that person.”

Of course, Garner went on to reveal that Affleck was unfaithful to her and reportedly slept with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian. While Garner admitted that the scandal had occurred after her separation, her comments damaged Affleck’s reputation. As fans will recall, Affleck retaliated with a candid interview of his own, which did not sit well with Garner.

At this point, it isn’t clear what will happen between Affleck and Garner. Both stars clearly have their family’s best interests in mind, though it is hard to tell if that shared goal will eventually bring them back together.
