The 100 Season 3, Episode 13 is titled "Join Or Die." As the show nears the season finale, fans should expect more deaths and major tension with the characters. Based on a new sneak peek, it definitely looks like the April 28 episode will be intense. The video clip reveals that there is a link between ALIE (Erica Cerra) and Ontari (Rhiannon Fish), the new Commander. Also, Pike will get a taste of his own medicine when Michael Beach's character is tortured and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) releases her rage.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the official promo for The 100 Season 3, Episode 13 was released. It showed Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) and Pike being led by Grounders. Abby (Paige Turco) is still under ALIE's control, threatening Kane, but he will not give up the Sky People who fled Arkadia. The press release gives more details on what to expect when the next episode of The 100 airs on The CW network.
"Clarke (Eliza Taylor) is on a mission that could change everything," Carter Matt wrote regarding the "Join Or Die" synopsis. "Meanwhile, Murphy (Richard Harmon) gains insight that might prove useful in ensuring his survival. Lastly, Kane reaches a breaking point."Based on the new sneak peek for Thursday's episode, Kane's breaking point doesn't just have to do with ALIE gaining control of Abby's mind or his life being threatened. There is something else that possibly contributes to Kane coming unglued. Just as Jason Rothenberg told TV Line after Lexa's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) death, viewers would soon discover the connection between ALIE and the Grounders. Get ready, because that moment is only one day away. The connection is much bigger and more shocking than anyone thought.
In The 100 Season 3, Episode 13 sneak peek, Pike is brought to Ontari with his hands bound in heavy chains. Kane is also there, but his hands are free. Kane is stunned when he recognizes a familiar face. Then, the Commander orders one of the Grounders to undo Pike's chains. To the shock of fans everywhere, Ontari orders Pike to take ALIE's chip. When he refuses, Pike is beaten, has a sack put over his head, and finds himself imprisoned.
Kane isn't just dealing with one stressful situation, but several. ALIE is controlling everyone, Abby was forced to take the chip, Bellamy's reckless actions had consequences, and Pike is trying to kill everyone and calling it survival. What else can be thrown on Kane? The fact that ALIE and the Grounders are now connected might cause Kane to fall apart. It's like a virus that is spreading uncontrollably. Massive amounts of people are being infected and there is no antibiotic and no cure.
ALIE took over Arkadia and has now moved on to Ontari's clan. How will Kane handle this? How will Clarke, Bellamy, and the others who escaped stay off of ALIE's radar? How far will the artificial intelligence entity go, and will it ever stop or at the very least be contained?
A flashback of Pike and Octavia is shown in the first promo clip for The 100 Season 3, Episode 13. In a classroom setting, Pike asks about the key to survival. Bellamy's sister replies that it is not dying, but Pike responds that it is to keep fighting. Despite everything that is going to happen in "Join Or Die," the Sky People need to do that. It just won't be in the way Pike thought it would be.
Even if Kane and Pike don't agree on everything and Beach's character issued the death penalty, the two men must deal with ALIE and the horde of mind-controlled humans surrounding them. These two men must join together and keep fighting to not only survive, but to save humanity.
As for Octavia, she is seen in the sneak peek releasing her rage. This time, her fists stay away from Bellamy's face. Instead, she is outside and falls to her knees. Avgeropoulos' character gives out a blood-curdling scream. She could be yelling about something else, but it seems likely that Octavia needs to let to grieve and let go of the anger she is holding inside following Lincoln's (Ricky Whittle) execution.
The 100 Season 3, Episode 13 airs April 28 on The CW network.
