Kim Richards Returns To ‘RHOBH’ To Face Arrest, Speaks Of Becoming A Grandmother On Instagram

Kim Richards is returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 tonight.

Although Kim Richards was not seen on Part 1 of the reunion special last week, she will rejoin her co-stars, including sister Kyle Richards, for Part 2, and during the show she will address her 2015 shoplifting arrest.

As fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may recall, Kim Richards suffered an alcohol relapse in early 2015, which led to her April arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel. At the time, Kim Richards was charged with public intoxication, resisting an officer, trespassing, and battery on an officer, and her troubles were far from over. Just months later, after visiting rehab numerous times, Kim Richards found herself behind bars yet again after she reportedly stole over $600 worth of items from a Target store in Van Nuys, California.

Following Kim Richards’ relapse, the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills assembled for filming on Season 6, but when it came to Kim Richards’ full-time role on the show, she was believed to have been fired. She did, however, return to the show in a guest-starring role months later.

Once Kim Richards returned, she seemed to pick up where she left off with both her sister, Kyle, and her co-star, Lisa Rinna. During her debut episode of Season 6, which aired earlier this year, Kim Richards was seen attempting to mend her relationship with her sister, which has been strained in years past. A few episodes later, Kim Richards was seen feuding with Rinna as she did during Season 5.

While fans didn’t see a whole lot of Kim Richards during Season 6, she will be seen at least briefly on Part 2 of the reunion, and during the upcoming episode, she will be seen addressing her shoplifting arrest.

After Andy Cohen asks Kim Richards if the arrest was her “low point,” Kim Richards sets the record straight, revealing her low point came months prior.

“When I took the first drink, [that] was my low point,” Kim Richards stated, according to a report by Fashion & Style on April 25.

Kim Richards also spoke of being hard to love, which she brought up during Season 6, but according to her sister, Kyle, she never stopped loving her.

“That’s not true,” Kyle told her sister. “Even if I didn’t like you at times, I always loved you.”

In the months since returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim Richards has appeared to be doing quite well, despite losing her ex-husband, Monty Brinson, to cancer earlier this year. Although she had an understandably tough time after her longtime friend’s passing, Kim Richards remained sober and months later, she received exciting news regarding her first grandchild.

Around Easter, Brooke Brinson-Wiederhorn, the daughter of Kim Richards and her late ex-husband, took to Instagram where she revealed she and her husband, Thayer Wiederhorn, were expecting a baby boy. Weeks later, Kim Richards addressed the news with a post of her own.

“Spent a great day yesterday My with Son-in Law, My Beautiful Daughter and Mommy to be @brookewiederhorn,” Kim Richards wrote along with a photo of herself and Brooke Brinson-Wiederhorn on April 25. “Oh how I can’t wait to be a Grandma. I’m so excited for this amazing next chapter of our lives….”
