Ariana Grande Lip Sync’s Entire Conversation With Jimmy Fallon [Video]

Ariana Grande and Jimmy Fallon took the now infamous lip sync battle to a whole new level on April 25.

When Ariana stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her new single and upcoming album, both titled Dangerous Woman, the duo decided to drop the usual lip sync song battle and instead opted to have an almost two and a half minute long conversation compiled entirely of lip-synced lines from a slew of popular songs.

The hilarious skit featured back-and-forth lines from a number of hits, including Lukas Graham’s “7 Years Old,” Rihanna’s “Work” and Magic!’s “Rude” all cleverly compiled to make one pretty bizarre conversation that the two had before the show.

Ariana and Jimmy successfully managed to lip sync their way through conversations about their walk to work, their throwback Thursday Instagram posts and even Jimmy’s planned visit to Home Depot (where he revealed that he’s planning to swing from a chandelier through Sia’s “Chandelier”).

But when Grande and Fallon weren’t busy lip syncing some of the most popular songs on the planet, Ariana opted to tell Jimmy a sweet story about his biggest fan, who just so happened to be Ariana’s grandma.

Ariana revealed on the late night talk show that her grandmother, who she affectionately calls “Nonna,” actually has a pretty serious soft spot for Jimmy as Grande recalled her very excited reaction to her announcement that she would be appearing on the NBC talk show.

“When I told her that I was going to be here to meet you she was like ‘Oh! I’ve got to start planning my outfit!'” Grande told Fallon of her grandma, who was sitting in the audience with Ariana’s brother Frankie Grande and mom, “I was like, ‘Nonna, what do you think is going to come of this?'”

Ariana Grande then joked that her grandmother may even have been looking to make Fallon Grande’s new grandfather. “She goes, ‘You never know, I’m very naughty!'” Ariana admitted.

Grande’s Nonna’s very flirty message for Jimmy Fallon comes just days after Ariana teased her grandma’s crush on the late night talk show host on her official Twitter page on April 22.

Taking to the social media site last week, Ariana recounted a conversation she recently had with her grandmother in which she confessed her love for the comedian and claimed that Fallon was “the only man [she’d] stay up til 11:30 p.m. for.”

Ariana Grande then tweeted out about her Nonna’s crush once again following her and Jimmy’s late night chat on April 25, telling to her more than 38 million followers “thank you again @jimmyfallon @fallontonight! Nonna says ‘if jimmy calls, tell him I’ll be back after ten.'”

But while Grande appears to be ready to set Nonna up on a romantic date night with Jimmy Fallon, last night’s Lip Sync conversation was just the latest of Grande and Fallon’s late night antics, which have racked up close to 100 million YouTube videos.

Ariana first caused a stir on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in March 2015 after she teamed-up with Jimmy to collaborate on an impromptu duet of Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson’s “Beauty and the Beast.”

Grande then returned to the late night talk show in September 2015 for another round of spot on impressions, which saw Ariana take on her follow superstars like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera in a pretty heated game of Wheel of Musical Impressions with Fallon.
