Kevin Jonas And Wife Danielle Announce Baby No. 2 Via Funny Instagram Photo

Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle Deleasa just announced that they’re expecting a second child, and the way they made the announcement couldn’t be any cuter.

As reported in Entertainment Weekly, the celebrity couple took to Instagram Monday to reveal that they’re expecting, posting a hilarious photo that sums up what’s in store for them in the next several months.

Kevin Jonas’s Instagram post shows himself reading a parenting book (“What to Expect When You’re Expecting Again”), with a look of dread on his face. Lying on the bed beside him is his wife Danielle being surrounded by snacks.

“We are excited to share the news that we are expecting a new addition to our family this winter,” the soon-to-be parents-of-two told People. “Alena is beyond thrilled to be a big sister and we can’t wait to meet the newest member of our family.”

To prove her point, Danielle recently shared an Instagram photo of a smiling Alena wearing a shirt with the words “Big Sister” printed on it.

Jonas and Deleasa, who got married in 2009, are not new to parenting. In February 2014, Danielle gave birth to daughter Alena Rose, who is now two-years-old.

The couple are obviously embracing their role as parents if Kevin Jonas’s Instagram account is any indication. Filled with photos and videos of Alena, Jonas’s Instagram account chronicles the growing up years of their little angel. Kevin is the perfect definition of a hands-on-dad as evidence by many of his Instagram posts.

The photo below is of himself typing on his smartphone and Alena writing on a piece of paper. “My new secretary taking notes,” the hilarious caption went.

And here’s a SnapChat video featuring Alena as a puppy. Can you handle this level of cuteness? You can’t.

As you can already tell, Kevin loves to share precious moments from his family life on Instagram, so those who want to keep track of his wife’s progress would do well to start following him on the social media account.

Not only does Mr. Jonas love to chronicle Alena’s adorable moments on social media, he also relishes every opportunity to talk about her. In an interview with People last year, Kevin talked about how he’d always bring a guitar so he can entertain his then 2o-month-old daughter.

“It’s the first time she heard that song, I played it and she just lost it,” Kevin explains. “I’d stop and she’d just look at me like, ‘Why are you stopping?!’ It was very sweet.”

Asked on whether they were planning on conceiving a second child, it was Danielle who answered for them.

“We’re always talking about it, so it’s always there,” she said.

Kevin and Danielle’s growing family has been a success story from the start. When Danielle found out she was pregnant with Alena back in 2013, she made an elaborate plan to knock Kevin’s socks off with her announcement.

“First, I took like 12 tests to confirm it. Then I took all the socks out of his drawer and filled it with diapers and a bib that said, ‘I love Daddy,'” Danielle told Fit Pregnancy.

“I also put all the tests in there and a sign that said, ‘I’ll meet you in nine months.’ Then I put his socks downstairs in a basket.”

Her plan, however, met an unexpected obstacle — Kevin’s hunger.

“When he got home, I was like, ‘Kevin, can you go put your socks upstairs?’ And he said, ‘Can I just eat first?'” she recalls. “I was like, ‘Really?’ I was pretty pissed about it. And then he saw what was in the drawer.”
