Joe Jonas Talks Gigi Hadid As Blonde Beauty Turns The Big 2-1

Joe Jonas is opening up about his split with model Gigi Hadid. He candidly revealed in a new interview that he agrees that the starlet moved on pretty quickly after they broke up.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror on Friday, Joe Jonas was asked about Gigi Hadid’s sudden romance with Zayn Malik. The two were photographed together just weeks after Hadid split from Jonas. However, Malik didn’t confirm the dating rumors until February. Jonas said that even he noticed how quickly she moved on.

“I think it’s interesting that she moved on so quickly. I mean, it was definitely very quick,” he said.

The DNCE frontman also drew comparisons to the former One Direction member. Fans started to remark about how both former boy band members started dying their hair different colors and writing songs about their past relationships. Joe says that he finds the constant comparisons between him and Zayn amusing.

“It’s comical that I’m compared to him. That dude and I have been compared for years, I think it’s just funny. To be honest I haven’t really listened to his music, but he can sing well.”

Jonas, 26, and Malik, 23, were last photographed together sitting in the front row of the Louis Vuitton show in Paris Fashion Week last year. Jonas even took to Instagram to share a photo of the two along with the caption #SQUAD. He later removed the photo once he caught wind of Malik and Hadid’s relationship.

Gigi Hadid celebrated her 21st birthday with her family as well as with Zayn Malik and his family at the beach this past weekend in Malibu. The “Pillowtalk” singer took to Instagram to share several black-and-white photos from their fun-filled weekend. One photo shows Zayn posing with his mother and his sisters.

He captioned the photo, “Chillin with the fam.”

The British crooner also shared another photo that shows Gigi climbing up the rocks in a gingham swimsuit, similar to the one she wore in their steamy Vogue photo shoot. She also carried a towel wrapped around her waist. Zayn is seen walking in front of her while Gigi’s younger sister, Bella, looks over at the couple to make sure they’re walking up the rocky terrain safely.

Hadid also shared a photo of her beach adventure on Instagram. She captioned this photo of Bella strolling along the beach, “best birthday.”

Gigi Hadid also made time to celebrate with her famous friend Taylor Swift. The “Out of the Woods” singer marked the occasion by surprising Hadid with a birthday cake in a private jet on Sunday night. Hadid played the third wheel with Swift and her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, as they headed down for his second headlining gig in Coachella.

Calvin took to Snapchat to share moments from their little celebration. He shared a video with the funny caption, “cake(s) on a plane.”

Gigi Hadid also took to Snapchat to share a clip of Swift presenting her with a fruit-filled cake along with the caption, “I love you.”

The model also shared a photo of Taylor and Calvin together as she wrote, “Coachella third wheeling.”

Then she showed a video of herself in the backseat with the cute couple, and another of them showing off their VIP wristbands for the message. She wrote in the caption: “Wouldn’t miss it.”

Gigi Hadid thanked Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris for allowing her to crash their “romantic date,” and Swift thanked Hadid for tagging along on her “birthday weekend.” Hadid has been longtime friends with both Swift and Harris. She even went on double dates with the couple when she used to date Jonas.
