Designer Area Rugs Debut At High Point Market [Photos]

Gorgeous designer area rugs by Calvin Klein, Kathy Ireland, Michael Amini, and high-end flooring design company Nourison created a buzz after their launch at the High Point Market’s Spring 2016 showcase, which wrapped up last week in North Carolina, reported Furniture World Magazine. The yearly High Point Market is the place to go for all the latest trends in accessories and interior design, including items like furniture and designer area rugs, generating an impressive annual economic impact of more than $5.38 billion, according to a study by Duke University.

The new designer area rugs collection by Calvin Klein also gets a toned-down look and feel that comes with a distinct modern edge in items like the new indigo color rug, adding to the line’s mystique as well as its versatility.

By contrast, the new collections of designer area rugs by Kathy Ireland offers up a wide range of rich, buttery neutrals and soft muted tones to complement virtually any living space.

“The Kathy Ireland Home by Nourison Illusion Collection embraces casual living through modern and contemporary designs in a rich color palette of warm and cool neutrals.”

No 2016 designer showcase – even area rugs – would be complete without some bling. Thankfully, Michael Amini’s new Brilliance Collection delivers in a big way.

“The new Michael Amini Brilliance Collection presents sparkle and texture in sisal blended with Lurex in a palette of natural, sand, silver and charcoal.”

New Prismatic and Opaline designer area rug collections by Nourison also debuted at High Point, generating a buzz for the bold, bright colors, and strong organic lines.

In addition, the new Jakarta design from the Nourison Twilight collection of designer area rugs offers up a design infused with whimsy and drama, while the Manhattan Collection is a study in sleek sophistication, just as the name suggests.
