Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Makes People’s 2016 ‘World’s Most Beautiful Women’ List

Megyn Kelly has been named one of People‘s most beautiful women, and she describes to the magazine why she cut her hair.

“We change when we get in a different phase. I think I was just in a stronger mood.”

People adds that Kelly jokingly calls the cut “the big chop” and said the decision to make such a dramatic change didn’t come easily. Kelly hints that the change came after her dust-up with Donald Trump — after which Trump has attacked her, since her question during the August Republican Party debate. The comments after the article in People are mixed.

“It’s an ugly haircut. Makes her look like a dude,” says ConservativeChick.

There are some other personal insults against Kelly as well, but at least one of the posters thinks the insults are ridiculous.

“Such silliness. It’s amazing to me how hateful people have become. Megyn cut her hair because she wanted to. Many of us have done the very same thing for no better reason than ‘just because.’ But her celebrity status makes her ripe for ridicule. We have become a sad petty people. I wish her well, new do and all,” states Mawpuff.

The Kelly-Trump heat started last August, and Fox News described the debate that made headline news everywhere.

“Megyn Kelly challenged Donald Trump on some of his past derogatory comments about women. She said Trump has called women he dislikes ‘fat pigs’ and ‘slobs’ in the past.”

The article noted that after Trump said it was “just Rosie O’Donnell,” Kelly said it was beyond Rosie, even indicating that he told a female contestant on The Apprentice that it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. After the debate, it was war. Trump spent a lot of time insulting Kelly, and she spent a lot of time bashing him on her show.

Megyn Kelly recently told Vanity Fair that before the August 2015 event, he tried to get on her good side.

“He would send me press clippings about me that he would just sign ‘Donald Trump.’ I didn’t know why he was doing that. And then when he announced that he was running for president, it became more clear,” Kelly claimed after months of misogynistic insults on Twitter from Trump’s fans.

However, the New York Times says Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump may have put their differences aside recently.

“Donald J. Trump, the leading Republican candidate for president, and Megyn Kelly, a Fox News anchor, spoke for roughly an hour on Wednesday, their first interaction in months. By day’s end, the two had reached a tentative truce in a feud that has captivated the political class and crystallized questions about Mr. Trump’s attitude toward women and the news media.”

Kelly has still been critical of Trump on her show but in a far more professional way that doesn’t — at least to Trump’s fans — make it look like she’s still trying to get revenge for the way he has insulted her. Do you think Megyn Kelly should have mended fences with Donald Trump after everything he said about her? Let us know in the comments section.
