Mr. Belding Gets Involved In Wrestling Match, Powerbombs Wrestler Through A Table [Video]

Anyone that has ever heard of Saved By The Bell knows who Mr. Belding is, and that’s not a bad thing at all. Actor Dennis Haskins has done a lot of things in his career, but being Mr. Belding is what he will always be the most remembered for. Still, there is a lot more to Haskins, and those that follow along with him on social media know that he likes wrestling. Still, it’s hard to think that he would get involved in a wrestling match and powerbomb a wrestler through a table, but he did.

Last night in New York, Wrestle Pro Online had an event that included a large amount of their roster in different matches, and one very special guest – Mr. Belding. The poster even included Haskins on it, and his image was bigger than anyone else.

It was not known what he would be doing at the event, but it was simply advertised that he’d be in attendance. Well, it’s likely that no one in the audience thought that Haskins was actually going to get physically involved in a match.

Well, that’s exactly what happened.

A tag team consisting of Pat Buck and Kevin Matthews had dressed up as the “Bayside Tigers” at the WrestlePro event last night. Not only did they dress in Bayside tights, but they even had on wigs to look like Zack Morris and A.C. Slater from Saved By The Bell.

Buck and Matthews had the team of the Heavenly Bodies beat but were being attacked and needed a little bit of help. That’s when Mr. Belding ran into the ring, and with the help of his partners, he ended up powerbombing Buster Jackson through a table.

It was a pretty cool scene and one that really got the crowd, especially those over the age of 25, really into it.

After the event was over, there was a picture taken from backstage of the trio known as “The Bayside Tigers.” Pat Buck was calling himself “P.B. Slater” and Kevin Matthews was being referred to as “Kev Morris.” It appears as if Mr. Belding/Haskins may now be their new manager.

About a year ago, there were rumors that Haskins and William Shatner could get involved in a storyline in WWE, but nothing ever came of it. Both of the celebrities were mentioned on Twitter by WWE superstars, and trash-talking was going back and forth between them.

Zack Ryder and Adam Rose involved the celebrities on Twitter, and it was thought that something could happen at WrestleMania 31, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Back in 2012, Dennis Haskins has told TMZ that he was a professional wrestler and wanted to get more involved in the ring. He was 61-years-old at the time and was serving as the host and guest enforcer for a promotion while getting involved in matches as well.

Apparently, he had even gotten an offer from WWE to take a position with them, but he ended up turning it down because he didn’t want to be on the road for five days a week.

Dennis Haskins is still very popular as he was on Saved By The Bell which still has a very big cult following to this day. He loves wrestling and he has always had an interest in the sport, so it’s not shocking that he gets involved. Independent promotions are brilliant to make Mr. Belding a part of things because fans love it, and it gets them an extreme amount of attention just like him powerbombing Buster Jackson through a table.
