GameStop offering free game with Wii purchase

“Wii Thiink You’ll Like Thiis Offer.” That’s just… excruciating, GameStop.

Abysmal Wii puns aside, the games retailer is offering a neat deal for those in the market for a Wii. Until July 26th, you’ll be entitled to a free Wii game (from a limited selection) if you buy the console there. Some of the games you can choose from are even good (though some are Sonic Unleashed). The list in full:

– Wario Land: Shake It

– Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games

Offering a free game with a console is fairly standard practice where other consoles are concerned, but the runaway success of Nintendo’s machine has meant retailers have been stingy with their Wii bundles. No longer, it seems!
