Dexter Star James Remar Treats Homeless Man Who Was Suffering From A Head Wound

When James Remar is not busy starring in Dexter he can be found treating massive head wounds suffered by homeless people in Los Angeles.

Remar saw the man outside of a Los Angeles grocery store and noticed that he was bleeding profusely from the head. In a former life Remar was an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in California and his training apparently kicked into high gear when he saw someone in need of his help.

Remar went into the store and purchased bandages and antiseptic cream, he then went outside, cleaned up the homeless man’s injury, dressed the wound and then he explained to the man how to care for his head injury to avoid infection.

Remar’s rep tells TMZ that James “sprung into action simply because he felt it was the right thing to do.”

The homeless man was just lucky that Remar didn’t follow the traditional path of an actor because his past experience as a waiter probably wouldn’t have been as helpful.

If you’re impressed with Remar’s actions you can next catch him in Django Unchainedwhere he plays Alex Speck in the Quentin Tarantino written and directed movie.

Are you impressed with James Remar’s selfless act of heroism?
