Watch: Touching Video Of Whitney Houston And Bobbi Kristina Hugging It Out At A Prince Concert

A few days after Prince was found dead inside an elevator in his Paisley Park home in Minnesota, a video of Whitney Houston and daughter, Bobbi Kristina, partying at one of the legendary musician’s 2011 concerts resurfaced online, as reported by Huffington Post.

The fact that all three passed away in the last few years makes the video sad and chilling all at once. Whitney Houston died in 2012, Bobbi Kristina in 2015, and recently Prince in 2016.

In the short video clip, Whitney and her then-18-year-old daughter, Bobbi, were seen singing, dancing, and hugging it out at one of Prince’s concerts in 2011. It was nothing short of moving, as you can see in the video the tight emotional bond between the two as they danced along to Prince’s music.

Gossip site TMZ shared the emotional video back in 2011. On April 22, the video resurfaced via Facebook and spread like wildfire. As of this writing, the video has been shared 122,000 times and counting. Based on the comments, the majority of those who watched the video were profoundly moved in seeing Whitney and Bobbi in one of their last tender moments together. Needless to say, the fact that Prince just died a few days ago makes the video all the more moving, and yes, eerie.

The tragic deaths of both Whitney and Bobbi made the watching of the video difficult for some. It seems like yesterday when Whitney Houston was found dead in Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles back in 2012 at age 48. The coroner ruled that the “Greatest Love of All” singer drowned in the bath, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributory factors.

Kristina’s death was eerily similar, as she was found face down and unresponsive in the bath at the Georgia home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon, 25, in January, 2015. Bobbi never regained consciousness, and died the day after.

Kristina’s friend, Daphne Barak, recounted to Daily Mail how the 22-year-old and Nick sent her a plea via Twitter telling her to “please come get us.” Unfortunately, Daphne didn’t pick up the message in time, which is something that tortures her to this day.

Daphne met Kristina in 2014 right after she sent her father, Bobby Brown, footage of his wedding with Whitney, who was pregnant with Bobbi at the time. Daphne gave Bobbi an offer to narrate the tape, which she immediately accepted, along with the message: “Nobody can talk about my mother, it has to be me. If there’s a film about her, I would want to play her.”

The two started recording in February 2014, right on the second anniversary of Houston’s death. In one part of the video, Bobbi talked about her mother in a shaky, emotional voice.

“I miss her like hell,” she said during the recording. “Once you have met this woman, you are attached to her forever. It was her heart, it was her smile, it was her face. It was the way she talked, it was the way she did things. She was so very lovable.”

Daphne said that after the recording, Kristina confessed that she felt like she was rushing through life, and that she feared that she’ll end up like her mother.

Sadly, Bobbi’s premonition became a reality.

It’s worth noting, however, that ‘Stina had struggled through most of her life on account of her parents’ problems with drugs. While she had the special privilege of being born into one of America’s singing dynasties, Kristina felt so alone that she eventually took refuge in substance abuse. It didn’t help that her boyfriend Nick was also an addict.

According to Daphne, Kristina often told her that she wants nothing more in life than to be a part of a normal family, which is something that she had never experienced.

“I want children with Nick. I am learning how to be a woman and want to have a dog, a house and a career,” she told Daphne once.
