Khloe Kardashian ‘Upset’ Over ‘Kocktails With Khloe’ Cancellation, Refusing To Speak To Co-Star
Khloe Kardashian’s Kocktails with Khloe co-star is revealing that Kardashian was left “upset internally” following news that her FYI chat show was cancelled and has not spoken to him since.
Sharone Hakman, who served as the bartender on the short-lived series, opened up about the Kocktails with Khloe cancellation news in a new interview with Cosmopolitan, where he admitted that Kardashian has not reached out to him since the news broke that she show would not be continuing earlier this month.
“I’m sure she was upset internally,” Hakman said of Khloe after revealing that the two have not spoken since the beginning of April, “No one wants to get a show canceled. It’s a lot of people’s jobs.”
“‘Hey, confidentially, we’re probably getting canceled,’ ” Sharone recalled being told by the production company, admitting that the crew of the Kardashian crew dropped the news that the show was likely to be yanked off the air immediately, rather than closing out the season as planned.
“When I found out, I was obviously bummed to hear,” Hakman continued of Khloe’s series, revealing that both he and Kardashian were “surprised” by the news that the series would not be renewed.
“I mean, there’s rumors about this or that … But the reality is that I think we’re all so surprised,” the Kardashian bartender continued. “We were like, ‘Okay, cool, fans are liking it’ and we’re all trying to wrap our heads around how we can continue to grow this and make this interesting and fun. And then bam! It just sort of happened. Wow!”

While Sharone’s Kocktails with Khloe revelations to Cosmopolitan appear to suggest that the show’s cancellation was all down to the network, Us Weekly previously hinted that it was actually Khloe’s idea not to continue on with the show in order for her to pursue other interests.
“Khloe wanted to stop doing the show to focus on other ventures,” a source close to Khloe Kardashian told Us Weekly after the news broke that Kocktails with Khloe would not be returning at the start of the month. “They had a really good run but Khloe wanted it to end, as she has so many things going on right now.”
TMZ also alleged at the time that Kardashian had “checked out” of the series and reported that the show’s executives were not happy to go forward with another season.

Khloe Kardashian has yet to comment on exactly why Kocktails with Khloe has been cancelled, though she did take to social media to thank her fans for tuning in on April 6.

I’ve enjoyed every second of shooting #KocktailswithKhloe,” Kardashian told her more than 20 million followers. “Your support each week has meant more to me than you could imagine, and I’ll continue to make time for our weekly chats. There are SO many exciting things coming up for me that I can’t wait to share with you… I’m not going anywhere. Love you always! XO”
The FYI network also issued a statement to Us Weekly after news broke in which they revealed that they were “grateful” to have worked with Kardashian on the series.
“FYI and Pilgrim Media Group appreciate everyone’s great work on the series and are pleased that the show brought new viewers and significant numbers to FYI’s linear and digital platforms,” a spokesperson on for the network told the site. “We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Khloe and thank her for her hard work and unique voice that she brought to the series.”
