Ryan Gosling Tones Down Baby Drama With Russell Crowe Couples Therapy Session

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are expecting a second baby and they are doing their best to tone down the baby gossip. The fact that Ryan and Eva are so secretive about their growing little family has been one of the reasons why the baby gossip has been so intense, but it looks like the actor found a way to divert his fans’ attention.

To promote The Nice Guys, Ryan Gosling teamed up with his co-star Russell Crowe for a short couples therapy session that mocked the fandom surrounding him.

Check out the video below!

And here is a behind-the-scenes photos from the video shoot.

Looks like The Notebook star is using the drama surrounding him to fight for the privacy of his second baby.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes had their first baby Esmeralda Amada Gosling 19 months ago and they have fought hard to make sure that their baby is not exposed to the public. And it looks like they are going to use the same tactic to make sure that their second baby gets the same treatment.

With a second baby on the way, the notoriously private pair are making sure Esmeralda, 19 months, has all the time – and space – she needs to grow up,” reports People Magazine. “The couple are determined to keep their personal lives shielded from the public.”

They are not a typical Hollywood, celebrity family,” a source told People Magazine. “First, they don’t have a nanny. Instead, Eva’s family, including her mom, help out.”

“They may be very private, but they still have a fun life,” another source told People Magazine in a different article. “They just go out of their way to make sure Esmeralda gets to grow up as normal as possible. Whenever Eva and Ryan are together, they look very happy.”

The source also added that The Nice Guys actor “often grocery shops and runs errands” and that he and Eva are “very hands-on parents and seem to very much enjoy it.”

At least this couple doesn’t need the kind of counseling that Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling had to go through!

But all jokes aside, Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe turned out to be one of the most dynamic pairs for the action-comedy film. They bonded over their common interests and expanded on them to make the couples therapy video.

When asked by Entertainment Weekly what he talks about with Russell, Ryan replied, “Lot of rugby talk.”

“I’m still not sure I completely understand. But it’s not for a lack of trying on Russell’s part,” he continued.

“I played him a game, which he appreciated,” Russell said. “But I’m not sure he’s a sport-focused fellow. I think he gets his enjoyment out of other of life’s pleasures, you know?”

Sounds like Ryan is a little too preoccupied with the preparations for his second baby to understand the complex logic of a rugby game.

But that doesn’t mean that he isn’t dedicated to the film that he is working on. He has been flooding his Twitter with promotional videos, pictures, and posters of The Nice Guys.

At least he can poke fun of himself!

Do you think Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes will be just as vigilant about keeping their second baby out of the public’s eye? Do you think they will get tired of living such secretive lives?
