Harvey Weinstein: Sheryl Crow’s Stalker Wanted To Shoot Me

Super-producer Harvey Weinstein was threatened by the delusional stalker of Sheryl Crow. The homeless man had threatened to attack and maybe even shoot Crow and according to court documents he also threatened to shoot Harvey.

Weinstein was worried enough about the man’s threat that he took out a temporary restraining order.

The homeless man, Phil Sparks, claims that Weinstein and Crow have teamed up with the sole purpose of ruining his life.

Weinstein wrote in his L.A. County Superior Court filing that he had never met the man, despite claims that Sheryl and Harvey worked together to “rob” him and blacklist him from Hollywood.

According to Harvey Weinstein the obviously unhinged man called the Screen Actors Guild in July and threatened to shoot him.

In the restraining order request Weinstein wrote that Sparks is “aware of some of my personal activities that I did not publicize” … such as trips with his daughter.

Weinstein went so far as to hire a private investigator to expose Sparks’ actions.

Weinstein then tells the judge:

“Unless the court issues the restraining order against Mr. Sparks … I am greatly concerned that Mr. Sparks may physically harm me, my family members, close friends, agents, and representatives.”

Harvey Weinstein and Sheryl Crows restraining orders are similar in scope and a judge will rule on both orders today. With temporary restraining orders already issued based on perceived threats it is likely the permanent restraining order will go into effect by Tuesday night.
