Bethenny Frankel Speechless After Being Accused Of Stealing Skinnygirl Concept On ‘RHONY’
Bethenny Frankel has managed to build a massive company with the help of the Real Housewives of New York platform. When Frankel joined the show, she was merely a struggling woman with a dram. But Bethenny worked hard and worked to get the products off the ground and into stores. And she hustled to make that happen. Many people are envious of her success, and it sounds like she’s finding enemies if she doesn’t want to help them out. This happened on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York. While John Mahdessian would love to work with the millionaire, he was quick to accuse of her stealing ideas when she turned him down.
According to a new Bravo report, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that she’s completely shocked at how things are turning out on the show. Frankel went to Dorinda Medley’s bra party on her very own birthday, but things turned out to be crazy. On last week’s episode, Bethenny and Ramona Singer had brought up some concerns about her boyfriend, John, and Dorinda wasn’t happy about it.
The story that Ramona shared was shocking. She revealed that John had talked about his sex life with Dorinda at an event, sharing that he likes to get buzzed, take Viagra, and then have sex with Medley for 6 hours. Bethenny Frankel was shocked to hear this too, but she had her own issues with Medley’s boyfriend. Bethenny felt that she was always being sold to, as if she had to learn how to accept John. But when he showed up at the bra party and accused Frankel of stealing her Skinnygirl business from his friend who had a brand called Skinny Cow, things quickly spiraled out of control.
“Ummmm how the hell do I write about this insane episode? Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“Well, happy birthday to myself. And Jules, thanks for calling us ‘elderly.’ It’s just what a woman wants to hear on her birthday. I mean that was pure insanity. Need I explain it? I think it spoke for itself. I call ’em like I see ’em. I grew up in a crazy world, and let’s just say I get a sense about these things,” Bethenny Frankel reveals in her blog for Bravo, sharing that she feels bad for Medley for having to deal with such a rude boyfriend.
“I really am speechless. I feel badly for Dorinda for a multitude of reasons. I think what John said about Ramona was below the belt, and I think Jules made it crystal clear that I started it. But, to be clear, if what I said to Dorinda brought out that beast, then I am glad. It vindicated us for our sixth sense,” Frankel reveals, adding, “Honestly, I have no words. Just trust me when I say it keeps getting better, and next week is challenging for me.”
It does seem like a baseless accusation, saying that Bethenny stole his friend’s idea. She’s been working on this business for years and she has documented everything from the very beginning when she started filming The Real Housewives of New York. If anything, one could argue that he stole her idea, as he could see the entire product development on the show going back to 2008. If John does want to work with Frankel, he should probably have shown her some respect from the beginning rather than make these baseless accusations.
