Khloe Kardashian Fears Lamar Odom Will Overdose Again, Delays Divorce: He Wants To Start Family With Khloe

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom continue to spend time together despite a new report revealing that Khloe plans to file again for divorce. In the past months, Kardashian has supported Lamar financially and emotionally, rushing to his side when he was discovered unconscious in a brothel after a drug and alcohol overdose and then spending months by his side in the hospital. After Odom left the medical center to continue his recovery, Khloe even helped him move into a home close to where she lives in a California gated community.

However, after putting her divorce on hold after Lamar was hospitalized, Kardashian is ready to file for divorce again, an insider told ET.

Khloe and Odom wed in 2009, and Kardashian initially began the divorce process in 2013. But when she put the separation on hold, Khloe clarified her reasons.

“I’m there helping him and I love him and I’ve always loved him. That will never change, and I just feel like it’s a really insensitive thing to fast forward a divorce.”

However, Kardashian now feels differently while sending mixed messages by choosing Lamar for her first Snapchat.

As for how Odom feels about divorce? Lamar contends it’s still an open discussion.

“We did talk, you know, everything is [up for] discussion,” insisted Odom about Khloe. “We talk about anything. We’ve been through a lot. It won’t ever stop.”

But is something stopping Kardashian from divorcing him again? If the divorce is finalized, Khloe will no longer be his legal wife in charge of making his medical decisions. With the knowledge that Lamar is drinking and partying again, she’s worried that he’s on the wrong path and heading for another possible medical crisis, an insider told Hollywood Life.

“Pulling the plug again [on the marriage] would cripple Lamar and she knows it. She doesn’t want to be the spark that sets his life on fire. She just wants him to get his life together, for himself,” clarified the source.

And until that happens, Kardashian is hesitant to even start the divorce process again because she’s worried that he could overdose again, added the insider. For that reason, she is delaying it again.

“She’s terribly disappointed in Lamar because he’s drinking again and partying with the wrong people. The last thing she wants is for him to have another Vegas experience. If that were to ever happen again, at least she’d still be his wife to make all his medical decisions.”

However, financially, Khloe continues to show her support for Odom, pointed out People. Since Lamar left the hospital, Kardashian has paid the rent on his California home, which is $3 million, as well as paying for the time that he spent in the hospital.

“Khloe supports Lamar financially in every way,” confirmed a Keeping Up with the Kardashians insider.

Despite that, when it comes to his desire to drink again, Odom won’t listen to Kardashian. One day prior to celebrating Easter with her family, Lamar headed out to a bar with pals. His kidneys were affected by the overdose, making drinking alcohol particularly risky behavior.

“Khloe is very worried about Lamar and his behavior,” added the insider. “But Lamar refuses to listen to her. He actually said to her, ‘Nothing will happen to me. Look how I survived the last time.'”

As for what Odom wants for his future? A baby with Kardashian, according to Hollywood Life’s source.

“He still wants to give her a baby. That’s always been his plan,” revealed the insider.

During their marriage, Khloe and Lamar repeatedly attempted to have children, and he remembers those days. Consequently, despite the problems they have recently encountered, including disagreeing about his drinking, Odom has faith that creating a family together can happen.

“Even though he lost some of memory, he never forgot that he wants to begin a family with Khloe,” added the source.
