HGTV’s Joanna Gaines Launches New Business Venture, Plus Take A Tour Of The Famous ‘Silos’

Chip and Joanna Gaines of HGTV’s wildly popular show Fixer Upper have launched yet another business venture, and it promises to be every bit as successful as their others.

Teaming up with the KILZ brand paint, Joanna has developed a new line of paint in 25 beautiful shades that encompass her signature style. Even the names are full of whimsy and charm, from “Wedding Band” to “Ella Rose” and, of course, “Shiplap.” Gaines believes the shades in her new collection, called Magnolia Homes by Joanna Gaines, captures not just her signature style, but the colors that inspire her the most.

Gaines explained in a prepared statement that she wants to make the process of adding color and style into a home easier for people.

“Working with the KILZ® Brand to develop my own paint collection was an amazing opportunity because paint is the easiest and most dramatic way to transform a space. I’m often asked for advice on selecting paint colors and I want to make that process simpler–that’s why I chose 25 classic and effortless colors to launch the new paint line with. I hope these colors come to mean as much to others in their own homes as they do to me.”

For KILZ, pairing up with Joanna Gaines from HGTV‘s Fixer Upper was an easy choice, according to Jodi Allen, chief marketing officer at Masco Coatings Group.

“We love how Joanna breathes new life into any space she touches. It takes a special eye to see the world not as it is, but as it could be and Joanna does this time and time again. We hope the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines Paint collection inspires people to bring her authentic, effortless style into their own homes, backed by the quality and legacy of the KILZ Brand.”

To make getting that classic, but special, farmhouse-inspired look that Joanna Gaines is famous for even easier, admirers of her looks can now pair their favorite paint from her new line with the new furniture she has introduced to Magnolia Home Furniture by Joanna Gaines. Gaines has drawn inspiration from her “favorite flea market and shop finds” into the new pieces — and there are more than 250 new items, including around 50 new items for her kids’ line, as well.

The furniture pieces range in design style from industrial loft to French-inspired. There are 50 new upholstered pieces, with 10 new frame styles and accent chairs. There are also new bedroom, dining and occasional tables, as well as accents, all spread across the six signature style genres from Magnolia Homes: Boho, Industrial, Farm, French-inspired, Primitive, and Traditional.

According to Furniture Today, some of the “signature pieces” in Joanna Gaines’ newest additions includes a Postman’s desk, a French-inspired metal bed, a Baker’s Pantry, and a “new round dining table is shown in a natural wood finish and is supported with a large, turned pedestal base.”

Magnolia Home has also added a new style category to their eclectic mix. Their “Modern” collection, which includes roughly 30 new pieces, is “inspired by the clean lines and streamlined profiles of classic modern designs.”

Joanna began her career in design back in 2003. She opened Magnolia Market, her flagship business venture, in her hometown of Waco, Texas — where much of her popular show takes place. Take a tour of their unique market in the video embedded above. The store is the couple’s “base of operations,” and in addition to the home goods, such as their beautiful furniture line, the market includes the famous silos, a garden, as well as on-site food.

The couple recently purchased a beautiful Greek Revival estate in their hometown. To take a tour of that home, click here.
