Adrienne Maloof Reveals Biggest ‘RHOBH’ Regret: ‘It Was Very Difficult’

Adrienne Maloof announced that she was leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills behind in an interesting way: She didn’t show up for the reunion special after Season 3 had aired on Bravo. Maloof had just separated from her husband, Paul Nassif, in a shocking twist, and she was planning on pushing forward with a full divorce. During the season finale, she broke down to her co-stars about the separation, and she did so at Lisa Vanderpump’s anniversary party. Rather than be supportive, Vanderpump ignored her co-star, who was crying in her living room. As it turns out, Adrienne is now revealing that she could have handled it better.

According to a new Bravo report, Adrienne Maloof is now revealing that she does carry some regrets from being on the show even though she speaks fondly of the experience. She reveals that she had no plans of getting divorced that season, but things quickly unfolded. Now, Adrienne reveals that her divorce is her one big regret from being on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“There are a lot of positive benefits to the show, but in terms of things that played out that I wish hadn’t — my divorce. It was very difficult, but then I look at it again as the glass half full,” Adrienne Maloof revealed during a recent interview, adding, “I inspired women going through a divorce and showed them that they can get through it, so it was worth it.”

Like many of the wives in the franchise, Adrienne Maloof was a bit hesitant in joining the show. She reveals that she was a business woman before joining the show, and she wanted to keep up her work while filming. However, Adrienne Maloof saw an amazing platform with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and decided to go forward with it.

“I was hesitant, as most people are, because I was a businesswoman first. But then I saw the platform — an amazing platform — that Bravo can give your philanthropic work and your business,” Maloof revealed, adding, “I looked at it as the glass half full and I went into it like that. Was it a difficult show to do? Extremely. It was also great because it allowed me to reach people and give them a voice. It was worth it.”

Over the past couple of years, Adrienne Maloof has stayed out of the spotlight with Bravo. She has expressed no interest in returning to the show even though it was a good experience. When she left the show, she disrespected Andy Cohen and the producers by not showing up at the reunion special, so she may have some haters if she did join the show again. But it doesn’t sound like Maloof needs to come back, as she’s keeping busy with plenty of other things.

“I’m doing very powerful things in my life. I’m bringing a voice to things that I think are important. These are real issues affecting our country,” Adrienne Maloof revealed, adding, “I was a businesswoman before I came on [RHOBH], but it gave me a platform which I am really grateful for.”

According to Radar Online, Adrienne Maloof and her ex-husband have made headlines for a while, as their divorce got ugly at one point. Her personal chef claimed that Paul has been abusive with the children, and she didn’t say nice things about him. Nassif was later cleared of all accusations, but it didn’t really help their relationship — or what was left of it.

What do you think of Adrienne Maloof’s biggest regret? Are you surprised that she regrets getting divorced on the show?
