Over the past year, Rob Kardashian, of the famous Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality show, has made headlines in the news for depression, weight gain, and alleged suicidal tendencies. These days, however, Rob Kardashian has made some positive changes in his life, and is making headlines for happier reasons.

The recent engagement of Rob Kardashian to model and actress Blac Chyna has been fodder for gossip. Hollywood Life reports that Rob Kardashian proposed to Blac Chyna after dating for only four short months. The engagement is not expected to be a long one, possibly taking place this summer, which is fast approaching.

The Kardashian clan is reportedly unhappy with the match, especially the Kardashian sisters. While they wish Rob happy, apparently they do not believe he will find his happily ever with Blac Chyna.

According to TMZ, Rob Kardashian has been approached with offers to televise his upcoming nuptials. If Rob decides to go this route, it may spell even more trouble between the Kardashian family, as Rob’s mom, Kris Jenner, has obligated the entire family to the E! network. There is the possibility the newest Kardashian couple may go their own way. TMZ further reports that a docusoap would be the best way to go. Rob Kardashian and his girl would make up to $200,000 per episode — a piece! — plus $500,000 each for the finale.

Rob says as of now he has no plans to televise his wedding, but with numbers like that being offered, it may be too hard to say no.

As if the Kardashian family relationships were not already rife with tension, the choice that Rob has made in Blac Chyna could throw a wrench into the family dynamic that the Kardashians may not be able to overcome. Rob Kardashian’s younger sister Kylie Jenner (her parents are Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner) is dating Blac Chyna’s ex, Tyga. Us Weekly reports the former couple have a 3-year-old son together, King Cairo. If both of these relationships move forward to marriage, Rob Kardashian and his sister would be step-parents to the same child. Even more bizarre, King Cairo’s biological parents will become his step-aunt and step-uncle.

Looks like Rob Kardashian will be getting a ready-made family very soon. What are the couple’s thoughts on future children? They have not been vocal about whether or not they plan to have children, but Blac Chyna’s mom has plenty to say on the subject. According to the Daily Mail, Tokyo Toni is ready to fill her arms with another grandbaby, and “BlacRob” is the lucky couple who will fill her wishes.

“I want another grandchild, for sure. It’s very likely to happen after the wedding.”

Does she know something we don’t know? Could Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have a bun in the oven even as we speak? Only time will tell if they are racing to the altar to be married before their secret is revealed.
