DJ Khaled, Beyoncé And The ‘Formation’ World Tour: Instagram Post Says Prayer Is ‘Powerful’
DJ Khaled. One can hardly hear the name without hearing the way “DJ Khaled” is introduced on plenty of his songs, like the one proclaiming that all Khaled does is “win, win, win — no matter what.” Within 30 minutes of Khaled posting to his Instagram account that he’d be joining “Queen” Beyoncé onstage during her “Formation” World Tour, the post on the “djkhaled” Instagram account swelled to having more than 6,000 likes.
Beyoncé has been in the news herself quite a bit lately. First, Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer from her upcoming HBO special created big buzz online, as reported by the Inquisitr. Next, the satirical article about Beyoncé teaming up with Greggs, a British bakery, had folks sharing the hoax piece on Facebook. Now, with Khaled’s news about joining Beyoncé on her upcoming tour, Beyoncé’s name is once again the center of buzz online.

Dropping any bravado of a hip-hop artist, DJ Khaled credited prayer with getting him on the Beyoncé tour. He celebrated the announcement as a major achievement. DJ thanked Beyoncé for giving him the opportunity to join her on tour.
“Today I proudly announce a major milestone in my career. Today’s announcement is a major accomplishment in my life. In other words it’s a major achievement alert!!!! I am proud to announce that I, DJ Khaled will be on tour with the icon, Beyoncé!!!!! Fan luv, when I tell you that prayer is the so powerful, please believe me. I want to thank the incomparable icon Beyoncé for this tremendous opportunity of a lifetime.”
Khaled next addressed Beyoncé directly on Instagram, as DJ said that Beyoncé’s music represented the background music to so many lives around the world. DJ dipped into Jay-Z wording when he said Beyoncé’s legacy was a “blueprint” for a younger generation to follow. DJ Khaled called Beyoncé a superstar in his effusive Instagram praise of the singer and performer.
“Your music is the soundtrack to so many people’s lives across the globe. Your legacy is a blueprint for the young generation to follow and strive to be. You are the true definition of a superstar. Thank you so much for inviting me on your stage. I promise you this! I’m gonna rip it down so legendary!!!!!!”
Khaled harkened back to the days when he was denied a position as a DJ in the clubs, but now Khaled is celebrating being asked to open for Beyoncé.
“When I was a kid THEY told me no when I wanted to DJ and perform in the club! So guess what, I did!!! OPEN FOR BEYONCÉ!!!!!! Fan luv we did it! We made on the stage with the Queen. Get ready to feel passion pain success and tears of joy in a STADIUM NEAR YOU!!!!! Miami, see you soon!!! I’ll be on stage with Beyoncé on April 27th and then I’ll be on the road to more success.”
Khaled announced that he would appear in Miami with Beyoncé, and then go on the road “to more success.” DJ once again thanked Beyoncé for making Khaled’s dream come true.
“I will never stop fan luv. Bless up!!”
After giving shouts out to Instagram accounts like @wethebestmusic, @epicrecords and @rocnation, Khaled hashtagged himself using #djkhaled and promised that his album was coming soon.
Before long, articles like “DJ Khaled Joins Beyoncé’s Formation Tour,” as reported by Billboard?, were appearing online, calling DJ Khaled the winner that he calls himself.
DJ Khaled also wants to buy the Miami Heat, reports Rolling Stone.
As a result of the news, Twitter reported that the Formation World Tour became one of their trending topics, with nearly 2,000 tweets about the world tour emerging quickly. In the featured photo above, DJ Khaled appeared at the Stadium Goods pop up in New York City on April 18.
