Josh Duggar’s Scandals Still Haunting Family Despite Rehab Stay And Forgiveness

Josh Duggar has become like the plague to his family. His indiscretions have caused a lot of heartache for his wife and siblings, especially those who were directly affected by his groping incident over a decade ago. It has been almost a year since Duggar was exposed for groping his sisters and being a part of the Ashley Madison hack, and yet everyone is still talking about it like it happened yesterday. The Duggar family wanted fans and supporters to believe that groping his sisters was an innocent thing due to being “curious,” but many aren’t buying it. Josh has needed help since he was a teenager, and everyone ignored it until it finally blew up.

In the wake of Josh Duggar and his scandals, 19 Kids and Counting was canceled by TLC. Fans were absolutely devastated because they would be missing milestones with the family, including documenting Jessa Seewald’s pregnancy. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Josh Duggar’s parents aren’t happy with his progress. There was a recent blog post that addressed sinners and many feel it referenced Josh. The Duggar family has been supporting him since his rehab stay, but they have also been leaving him out of important things like National Sibling Day. It appears that despite their efforts to forgive him, Josh Duggar still isn’t a welcomed member of the family.

During one of the earlier episodes of Jill and Jessa: Counting On, Anna Duggar went to visit Josh Duggar in rehab. When she returned with love from him, the family looked uncomfortable with his words. Joy-Anna was in tears, and Jana looked annoyed. These girls had their lives turned completely upside down, especially when they were named as victims. While only Jill and Jessa spoke out about how it directly affected them, some of the other sisters were known because of their ages when the incident occurred. It had been a decade since the incident where Josh Duggar fondling them happened, and they were reliving it once again.

Several advertisers have pulled themselves from Jill and Jessa: Counting On simply because of the connection to Josh Duggar. Even though he will not be appearing on the show at all, they don’t want their brand associated with backing the family in any way. This leaves the network in a lurch, deciding whether or not to continue with filming.

Fans were excited to see the Duggar family back on television and have voiced their disgust with the companies pulling their support. Josh Duggar doesn’t define who the family is, but he is a small part of them. His indiscretions should not be held against the other children. Many blame Jim Bob and Michelle for being overly strict on parenting, leading to the curiosity that caused the fondling. Whatever the reason was, Josh Duggar’s actions have branded the family forever.

It is incredibly unfortunate how Josh Duggar has managed to take his entire family down with him because of the choices he made. His sexually deviant behavior is rumored to be cured, although it is unclear how much therapy and counseling he received at the treatment facility he attended. Duggar went into hiding after being released from treatment and has only been spotted a handful of times since then. Anna Duggar is backing her man, and there are rumors of a fifth child on the way. Things are going to be hard for the Duggar family for the next few years until people are able to forgive what Josh did and move on. Right now, Josh Duggar is still feeling the judgment and hatred because of who he portrayed himself to be versus who he really was.
