Tensions will escalate during Tuesday night’s episode of Dance Moms. Spoilers tease that as Maddie Ziegler, Mackenzie Ziegler, and Melissa Gisoni prepare to leave the show, Abby Lee Miller will be erratic in how she handles the impending departure. Another competition is on the way and the Abby Lee Dance Company is facing some stiff competition. Where are things headed in the April 19 show?

As TV Guide details, this Season 6, Episode 16 show is titled “Mack Z vs. Abby Lee.” The ALDC girls will be tackling hip-hop routines, but Dance Moms spoilers detail that Mackenzie is upset when she is given a standard acrobatic piece to perform. Viewers may be a bit surprised to see how Ziegler decides to handle the situation.

Miller is not only struggling in the wake of the news that Maddie, Mackenzie, and Melissa are leaving, she is in the midst of a difficult court case where she faces multiple fraud charges as well. Viewers have seen outrageous and erratic behavior from Miller throughout Season 6 already, but it sounds like things get even more tense in this next episode. Dance Moms spoiler previews tease that Abby will be in an intense downward spiral, and even Melissa throws up her hands in frustration.

As Jill details, all of these families left their homes and other family members behind to stay with the show as it shifted to Los Angeles. Even with the fraud court case looming, they have stayed involved. Clearly, Ashlee’s comments touch a nerve.

When it comes to the pieces for the next competition, Dance Moms spoilers detail that Brynn Rumfallo, JoJo Siwa, and Mackenzie all get solos. While JoJo and Brynn are given hip-hop routines, Ziegler is upset when she doesn’t get a similar challenge. Rather than just dance through the disappointment, it seems that Mackenzie will stand up for herself and challenge Abby regarding the direction of her solo. The piece, reportedly titled “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” is said to earn first place in the teen division at the competition. Dance Moms spoilers detail that Mackenzie’s solo titled “Bully” gets first place in the junior division, while Brynn’s “Freak” earns fourth, and JoJo’s “Million Dollar Baby” gets fifth place in the teen division.

Maddie, Mackenzie, and Melissa only have a few episodes left before they bid farewell to Dance Moms. As Abby is seemingly handling this situation so far, viewers can surely expect quite a bit more drama as these last performances play out. Spoilers indicate that there will be a big farewell for the girls in an episode coming up soon, a show that some suspect may serve as the mid-season finale. Lifetime has ordered additional episodes to extend Season 6, but will Miller manage to pull things together and remain a part of it all?

Viewers are used to drama when it comes to this Lifetime show, but teasers indicate that Abby Lee Miller may be sinking so deep with these latest challenges that she will not be able to fully recover.
