Peta Murgatroyd Fuels Rumors About Nyle DiMarco After Partner Switch-Up On ‘DWTS’

Peta Murgatroyd made headlines last week as many people were accusing her of getting too close to her dance partner, Nyle DiMarco. Peta, who’s engaged to former professional dancer on Dancing With The Stars Maksim Chmerkovskiy, had been accused of getting too close to DiMarco, who is deaf. Rumors were swirling that the other contestants were distancing themselves from him, because he was getting such good scores. And since he’s deaf, it had become easy for them to simply keep him out of conversations. But Murgatroyd was rumored to be very protective of DiMarco, and this week, she fueled those rumors.

According to a new Instagram post, Peta Murgatroyd has a sweet message for her temporary dance partner, Doug Flutie. The two were paired up for a week of competition, as America voted for them to get paired up. And it sounds like Murgatroyd was impressed with his dancing skills and his efforts in performing.

But while Murgatroyd was dancing with Doug, she was missing her dance partner, DiMarco. Earlier last week, Murgatroyd posted a picture of Nyle, sitting with his new dance partner, Sharna.

“The struggle is real… Sharna, I expect Nyle DiMarco back on Monday night,” Peta revealed to the picture. And while she was missing her dance partner, Nyle appeared to have fun with Sharna. In fact, he impressed with his dancing skills and he posted on Instagram that he had gotten a 10 this week, writing, “I got a 10 this week because of them. And of course TYRA! You all are my MVPs. Thank you for coming all the way from Washington DC!!! #DWTS.”

The rumors that swirled last week about Peta Murgatroyd and DiMarco’s relationship apparently hit home for her future husband. According to the Heavy website, Maks had proposed to her last December while they were on stage. And while he may have been excited about getting together, it sounds like Maks isn’t happy about this new friendship. And it is very possible that his brother, Val, has been sharing stories from backstage.

“The other guys on set used to just shun Nyle, but it has gotten to the point where they are just flat-out rude now! No one even tries to engage with him anymore. Granted, he is deaf, but they used to all at least just say ‘hello’ or tell him that he was doing a great job. There is no longer any of that going on,” a source told Radar Online about the drama backstage.

“Peta and her fiancé’s younger brother Val had it out because he told Maksim that Peta was getting too emotionally attached to Nyle. There is so much drama right now because Peta is constantly fighting with her castmates because it seems like they are all out to get Nyle,” the source continues.

It sounds like Peta Murgatroyd does have a special bond with Nyle, but one can imagine that it isn’t romantic since she’s engaged. Plus, DiMarco seems like the kind of guy who would respect Maks’ relationship with Peta. However, it is very interesting that she’s posting about missing her dance partner just days after these rumors have surfaced.
