‘Bachelor’ Stars Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Head To L.A. To Plan A Televised Wedding Spectacular

Following a restful week in Denver, Bachelor star Ben Higgins and his fiancée, Lauren Bushnell, are back on the road. The two made a quick stop in Indiana before heading to Los Angeles over the weekend. Is their trip to Hollywood a sign that they are planning on televising their upcoming wedding?

According to Star Pulse, the couple made a stop in Indiana on their way to Los Angeles. Higgins participated in the festivities at Indiana University and appeared as the grand marshal for the Little 500 event. Following the stay in Indiana, Higgins and Bushnell made their way to L.A. in order to pick up the remainder of Bushnell’s belongings.

It’s unclear how long Higgins and Bushnell will stay in Los Angeles, but they did manage to pick up some tickets for the Clippers game on Sunday. Apart from their appearance at the NBA game, the two have not been spotted with any television producers, at least not yet. Considering how they are open to televising their ceremony, it would not be surprising if they used the stay to negotiate a deal.

That being said, Blasting News is reporting that Higgins and Bushnell could be in the area for a number of different reasons. Along with moving and meeting with producers, there is a chance that Higgins is going to appear on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, especially considering JoJo Fletcher’s past history with Higgins.

If the two are negotiating a televised wedding, then the network has plenty of openings in the schedule to make it work. After Dancing with the Stars wraps up this season, fans will watch Fletcher attempt to find love on The Bachelorette followed by the new season of Bachelor in Paradise. Producers could easily fit the wedding in between any one of these short breaks.

So far, Higgins and Bushnell have not confirmed their plans for a televised wedding. In fact, the two haven’t even announced an official wedding date, which has left many wondering when the two will exchange vows. The delay in plans is partly due to the fact that they are still adjusting to their lives after reality TV, although some rumors have persisted about a possible break-up.

According to Hollywood Take, reports surfaced that Higgins and Bushnell were both having a hard time getting over his feelings for Fletcher. In fact, an inside source told the outlet that their relationship was on the brink of a split after Bushnell found out that Higgins had told Fletcher that he loved her.

“Their relationship is extremely tense right now,” the insider shared. “Lauren tries not to think about it, but she’s traumatized that Ben told another girl he loved her. Everyone around them can feel the awkwardness. It’s unclear if they’ll last. Things between them are getting worse.”

That being said, Higgins and Bushnell have shown no outward signs of a break-up. Instead, the two have made multiple public appearances following the end of The Bachelor, have shared numerous photos of vacations and dates on social media, and have appeared more than happy together. Even more, Bushnell has gone through with her promise to move in with Higgins at his home in Denver.

Furthermore, Higgins recently told People about his plans for the wedding. Not only is Higgins thrilled about marrying Bushnell, but he also wants the ceremony to be as big as possible. This includes a massive reception where Higgins plans to invite everyone he knows.

“I want a huge reception,” Higgins explained in the interview. “How often in life do all your friends and family gather in one room to celebrate something? Why get married tomorrow if we can plan a big ass party?”
