Dorinda Medley Says Bethenny Frankel Couldn’t Survive An Ambush On ‘RHONY’

Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley was furious with her co-stars after watching last week’s episode of the show. Medley was angry that Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel would bring up stories about her relationship at her bra party. Ramona claimed that she had heard John talking about him taking Viagra while buzzed and having sex with her for six hours. Bethenny decided to bring up the fact that she feels that Dorinda needs to “sell” John to her all the time, accusing him of being too pushy.

According to a new Bravo report, Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley was furious at the women for bringing this up at her party, and she was shocked that they wouldn’t come to her in private to discuss these matters. Even though Medley was angry with Ramona for bringing this up at her party, especially since they have been friends for 20 years, it is actually Bethenny who gets Dorinda’s wrath in her blog.

“This episode was one of the hardest and most painful episodes I have ever sat through. And even though we eventually move past it, it really angered me. Truly, madly, deeply angered me. I couldn’t think of anything else the next day. How much crueler could Bethenny and my ‘dear friend’ of 20 years, Ramona, be?! So disappointed and sad — surprised and horrified, too,” Dorinda reveals about the second episode of the season.

She reveals that she will elaborate on the “surprised and horrified” part a bit later on, sharing that it could possibly be something that comes up again on The Real Housewives of New York.

While many people see Bethenny Frankel as a strong woman who can say and do anything, Dorinda believes that Frankel wouldn’t be able to handle such an ambush in public. If someone was to bring something up to her about her relationships, dating life, or divorce, Medley questioned whether she could really handle the pressure of answering these kinds of questions. Of course, Bethenny spent hours crying on the last season of The Real Housewives of New York, because her ex-husband tried to take all of her money away from her.

“I wish Bethenny would try sharing some real life time with us, try getting to know us as a twosome, and then go on and form her opinion. But then, I wish manners and discretion would lead her to talk to ME, in private, and voice her concerns. She wouldn’t like an ambush like this and, to be honest, couldn’t survive one if it happened,” Dorinda Medley points out, adding, “God forbid someone responds with some REAL TRUTH. If ‘realness’ and ‘truth’ is what Bethenny’s all about, I think she should’ve gotten different taglines. There are plenty of words to describe that, but ‘real’ isn’t one of them. She’s taken the idea of ‘drive-by therapy’ and turned it into a marketing initiative. Please stop, B, it’s hurtful.”

Medley explains that they have tried to move on and things appear to be going well with the ladies, but she admits that this was a tough episode to watch. Frankel has hinted that next week will spiral out of control, as John decides to show up and surprise Dorinda Medley at the party. While he gets heated, she does try to calm him down and get him out of the room. According to Radar Online, Ramona Singer has admitted that she should probably have addressed the issue with Medley in private rather than share the news with Real Housewives of New York viewers.
