Charrisse Jackson Jordan Says Being On ‘Real Housewives’ Killed Her Marriage

Charrisse Jackson Jordan joined The Real Housewives of Potomac to have some fun with the ladies in the neighborhood, and she quickly shared that she and her husband were living apart. Apparently, he had taken a coaching job out of state, and he had settled down there. Charrisse quickly came to her husband’s defense, saying that their marriage was more than alright. However, it sounds like things have crumbled quite a bit since the show wrapped.

According to a new Bravo report, Charrisse Jackson Jordan is now revealing that her marriage has come to a dead end, and it sounds like divorce would be the next logical step. After the show wrapped up, Jackson Jordan’s husband was fired from his coaching position. While everyone expected him to come home and be with his wife, he remained close to the job where he was fired. And as it turns out, Jackson Jordan’s husband has yet to come home. While she has shared her marital status on The Real Housewives of New York, she doesn’t appreciate her co-stars talking about her marriage, including Gizelle Bryant.

“In terms of Eddie, Gizelle doesn’t know Eddie. Our friendship came into existence after Eddie left home. She creates stuff for more air-time. Now I understand why when people that have known her longer than I have are surprised that I would use her name and friendship in the same sentence,” Charrisse reveals in her blog for the show, sharing that she doesn’t appreciate Bryant talking about her marriage.

“For someone who gets so wrapped up in everyone’s relationships, yet claims to have men everywhere, she couldn’t convince one of them to date her on camera. Maybe she should spend more energy focusing on her own affairs,” she points out, slamming her co-star’s own dating life.

Of course, Charrisse Jackson Jordan hasn’t really said too much about what went wrong in her marriage. They were married when Eddie got the coaching job out of state, and she decided to stay back to provide support for their children. But they simply grew apart, and they didn’t talk much after he moved. It sounds like he didn’t even share with her that he was fired from his job. Rather than call home, he decided to just stay put and move on with his life. And one can imagine this is painful for her.

“There really isn’t much to discuss when it comes to Eddie. Unlike some, I don’t sensationalize or make things up. I will admit that it is hard talking about something that personal when you’re surrounded by people who really don’t care about what you’re going through. The subject is a sensitive one and I really didn’t want to become emotional at the reunion. I’ve been on a painful journey,” Charrisse Jackson Jordan revealed about her marriage on her Bravo blog, adding, “Being on the show has brought my marriage to a dead end. We don’t really talk and when we do it’s not a good conversation. I’ve come to terms with the demise of my marriage and will be moving forward with my life.”

It sounds like a divorce could be coming her way any day now, especially since she’s possibly filming the second season of the show. Many of the ladies have said that they would return for the second season of the show, and this could be a great way for Jackson Jordan to get back on her feet.
