Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux Rumored To Be In The Midst Of A Divorce

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are rumored to be in the midst of a divorce after Jennifer allegedly caught him speaking to his former girlfriend.

The couple — who married last August in a super-secret ceremony — are reportedly having issues after Aniston caught Justin cheating, although neither of them have confirmed a split. Aniston made headlines last week after she talked about what it was like to come straight from her honeymoon and go to the set of the Gary Marshall film Mother’s Day.

“Well, hence the breakdown. That’s how I felt. That was sort of what was going on internally. Anything for Gary Marshall,” Aniston said.

A source told Radar Online Jennifer suspected something was up when she found out that Justin was communicating with his ex again, but Justin claimed it was only because the two of them still had mutual friends.

“For months, Jen has been suspicious that Justin was communicating with Heidi. Jen confronted Justin. She broke down in tears and demanded that he cut off communication with Heidi immediately. Justin tried to apologize and made a few lame excuses about he and Heidi having mutual friends,” the source said. “This is the ultimate betrayal for Jen and her absolute worst nightmare.”

It’s unclear whether the couple are really considering divorce or if they’re just victims of online gossip, and it’s unlikely that either of them will be opening up to the press about it anytime soon; they are both notoriously private when it comes to their personal lives. The pair were very serious about keeping their wedding day secret and requested no photos other than the ones taken by their official photographer, which they didn’t even look at right away. For them, the day was about being in the moment with one another and their loved ones.

“It was amazing. We were determined to keep it just private and to ourselves. And the thing is, we haven’t even seen pictures,” Aniston told People. “But, you know, it was just everything we wanted it to be, and we are very happy that we didn’t have to see our faces on the cover of a magazine.”

Theroux told Ellen DeGeneres that they were so intent on keeping the day a secret that they initially told guests they would be coming to a birthday party, but they soon realized that their fib might get them into trouble.

“It was actually a massive miscalculation. Because we thought, ‘We’re going to tell some people this and some people that,’ and then people that really have to that have busy schedules and whatever. So then afterwards we kind of realized that was a terrible plan.”

Indeed, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have both eschewed social media in favor of a quieter life, saying they are worried that posting photos and thoughts for everyone to see would only draw more attention to themselves. Aniston, in particular, says she feels like she’s a “tabloid nightmare”.

“I feel like it takes mystery away. I feel like we know too much. I’m a tabloid nightmare. My life seems so much more dramatic and interesting than it is just because of the stupid tabloids, so why would I sort of invite it myself?”

Jennifer Aniston stars in Mother’s Day with Julia Roberts, and although she said in a recent interview that she “fangirled” over Roberts when they were on set together, the two have actually worked together before. Although they didn’t have scenes together, Aniston and Roberts were both on Friends when Roberts guest-starred as an old acquaintance of Chandler’s who was bent on revenge for a childhood prank.
