Two Men Who’ve Dated Nicki Minaj Say Rihanna Is The ‘Best’

Rihanna has come a long way since her first hit single, “Pon de Replay,” in 2005, and is still going strong. Originally from Barbados, her record sales to date have surpassed the 200 million mark, making her one of the best selling artists of all time.

It has long been speculated that Rihanna generally doesn’t see eye to eye with her Trinidad and Tobago counterpart, Nicki Minaj, also one of the best female rappers in the world. Their feud is said to have started in 2012 during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

Apparently, Nicki Minaj told Rihanna to “sit the f**k down” as the latter attempted to give her a hug after Nicki received an award. This was according to The Real World’s Trishelle Cannatella, who was in attendance at the awards. The following was the tweet she shared in regards to this at the time.

This is as reported by Perez Hilton. However, Nicki Minaj later on attempted to clarify that she was not at loggerheads with the singer while on “My Truth” on E! She queried blogger Perez Hilton on his report that she and Rihanna feuded while at the MTV Video Music Awards and stated, “No, I never told Rihanna to sit her a** down.” This is as reported by MTV.

On the controversies surrounding her at the time, she stated that it was the relationship with her fans that motivated her to get up and work every day, with her schedules, including prepping for her tours, 24 hour recording sessions, wardrobe approvals and television appearances.

That said, Rihanna has of late been getting some not-so-easy-to-ignore attention from some of Nicki Minaj’s former lovers. And the first is Drake. In his most recent concert in Canada with Rihanna, he offered the following compliment while on stage, much to the amusement of the crowd.

“One more time, if you would do me the favor and make some noise for the greatest woman I’ve ever known in my life.”

The two have been showing major PDA at events. In February, they were spotted at a nightclub in London after attending the 2016 BRIT Awards. According to a report by Glamour Magazine, “They seemed really into each other and didn’t care who saw… Rihanna was grinding and twerking into him, and they kissed in full view of the floor. They were having such a good time, they didn’t even notice it was 5:30am.”

Of course, Rihanna and Drake have a dating history that goes way back to 2009, when they were spotted at the Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge. At the time, Drake was still relatively unknown in entertainment circles. According to Page Six, “She was drinking whiskey and apple juice and making out with him all night … They were really cute together.”

However, Rihanna has another Nicki Minaj’s ex under her spell, and that is Safaree Samuels. In May last year, he captioned an Instagram post as follows.

However, what raised eyebrows was that he tagged Rihanna in the post raising speculation that he was making passes at her. And just a few weeks ago, he remixed Rihanna’s “Work” single and stated on social media that it was the best song of the year. The following were his exact words.

“Work is probably the best song of the year…,” Safaree began before adding, “That s*** is catchy as fu#{{^{^{^{***.”

He also posted some of Rihanna’s twerking clips, praising her skill.
