Rihanna Attends Coachella Weekend 1, Hangs Out With Leonardo DiCaprio At Neon Carnival Party

Rihanna and Leonardo DiCaprio may have shut down dating rumors last year, but it looks like the duo is further fueling the romance claims after they were spotted hanging out at Coachella’s Neon Carnival on Saturday, April 16.

Photographers snapped a few photos of the duo hanging out during the annual celebrity-packed carnival for Coachella’s Weekend 1 festivities, where acts such as DJ Kayper, DJ Politik, Jesse Marco, and DJ Rukus performed live for the invite-only event in Thermal, California, People reports.

Rihanna and Leo kept it casual in honor of the music festival’s highly anticipated event, with the “Needed Me” songstress opting for a pair of sparkling shades, gold choker necklace, hoop earrings and a Harley Davidson sweatshirt and DiCaprio donning a pair of aviator sunglasses, baseball cap, and bandana during Saturday night’s carnival.

Prior to their meet-up, Rihanna, who is currently in between tour dates for the North American-leg of her “Anti World Tour,” was also spotted posing for pictures alongside Courtney Love during the Guns N’ Roses’ set on Saturday night.

While the latest photos of the duo have already sparked a flurry of dating claims, sources close to Rihanna and Leonardo DiCaprio previously shut down rumors of a romantic relationship after reports surfaced suggesting that the duo were getting cozy at L’Arc nightclub in Paris earlier this year.

“Leo was at the club for a private party and Rihanna came with Cara Delevingne separately,” a witness explained to Us Weekly at the time of Rihanna and Leo’s hangout. “Rihanna went over to Leo to say ‘hi,’ congratulate him and give him a kiss on the cheek. They chatted for a few minutes.”

Despite the resurfaced dating claims, a source close to the duo spoke out against the romance rumors by explaining that Rihanna and DiCaprio are “just really good friends” and “left the club separately” after being photographed together at the nightclub hotspot.

Prior to their Parisian hangout, the duo further escalated dating rumors after they were spotted partying together at nightlife destinations 1 Oak and Up & Down in NYC on Valentine’s Day before ringing in Rihanna’s 27th birthday together on February 20 last year. According to witnesses in attendance at the bash, Rihanna and Leo were said to have been “dancing close all night” and “whispering and staring into each other’s eyes” during the event, although neither Rihanna nor Leo personally confirmed the reports, Us Weekly reports.

While Rihanna has been heating up dating claims with Drake, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Travis Scott since embarking on her “Anti World Tour” last month, the songstress previously shut down the relationship rumors during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres for The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February.

When asked about her current relationship status and those ongoing dating rumors with Drake, Rihanna revealed to the talk show host that her schedule is too hectic to “entertain a steady relationship” at the moment.

“I’m single right now and it’s not that I’m like, ‘Oh, pro-single, yes I hate men!’ I just think I have so much on my plate that I can’t even find the time to entertain a steady relationship or anything serious. Or even a text,” Rihanna explained of her dating life, albeit noting that she would “love to go on tour with Drake” in the future, Billboard reports.
