Why Blac Chyna Wants Nothing To Do With The Kardashian Brand [Video]

Despite being engaged to Rob Kardashian, a source close to Blac Chyna has revealed that the former model doesn’t want anything to do with the Kardashian brand — because it might affect her own. According to TMZ,Blac Chyna only wants to promote her own brand, which might include her own reality show with Rob.

Chyna, who owns her own fashion brand, has even refused to sign with genius manager Kris Jenner, and wants nothing to do with Keeping Up With The Kardashians. However, a show with Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian might be a hard sell. A production insider claims that because Rob has not been on Keeping Up With The Kardashians since 2013, E! might hesitate to give him and Chyna their own show.

E! would be hesitant about a spinoff,” the source confessed, adding that the network would “need to see him film on ‘Keeping Up’ first.” It wouldn’t be the first time a Kardashian kid had their own show; after marrying Lamar Odom, Khloe had her own series for a while.

A different source revealed, however, that Blac Chyna wants nothing to do with television, and is “far more interested in developing a Paris Hilton-style business empire, hawking everything from eyelashes to purses.” Still, a third report revealed that Blac Chyna would, in fact, be willing to make an appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but only if she was paid $1 million for the cameo.

Since he started to date Blac Chyna, Rob’s relationship with his family has gotten tense, although Kris Jenner reportedly did help him purchase a new $2.3 million home. The Kardashian family has stayed publicly silent about the engagement between Rob and Blac Chyna, and Kris has snapped at reporters who asked her about it. Similarly, Kanye West, who is married to Kim Kardashian, has stayed silent about the possible marriage, preferring to tell the media instead that he loves his brother-in-law and that’s all he can say.

Over social media, Rob has referred to himself as an “orphan,” indicating that the rift between him and his family has widened following the announcement that he is engaged to Blac Chyna. On Instagram, Rob posted a message to fans bemoaning his situation, explaining “[w]hen the p***y good but your family don’t like her so you drop your family and become an orphan.”

Blac Chyna shares a child with Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga, and the two women reportedly don’t get along. Additionally, Blac Chyna’s mother, Tokyo Toni, has slammed the Kardashian family several times over social media, possibly causing a further rift between her daughter and the Jenner crew.

On several occasions, Tokyo Toni has angered Kris Jenner, who reportedly called Toni over some Instagram comments. The questionable posts were later removed with a full apology from Toni.

Rob Kardashian has owned his own fashion line for years, but now that Blac Chyna is in his life, Rob is reportedly ready to turn his brand into a full-fledged business. According to TMZ, just mere days after he and Blac Chyna announced they were dating, Rob’s lawyers filed documents to expand the Arthur George sock line to include belts, booties, coats, dresses, gloves, head wear, jackets, leggings, tuxedos, swimwear, and underwear.

In addition, since he began dating Chyna, Rob has secured more social media endorsement deals. Prior to dating his fiancée, Rob preferred a reclusive lifestyle, but now he’s promoting products as diverse as teeth whitening products and women’s shoes. Kardashian, who has struggled with his weight for years and was diagnosed with diabetes, has reportedly also lost 40 pounds with Blac Chyna’s help.
