Christina Aguilera Focuses On ‘The Voice’ Win Ahead Of Exit, Still Feuding With Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton?

Christina Aguilera’s current season of The Voice may be her last.

Last month, The Wrap shared cast details of The Voice Season 11, revealing that both Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams would be leaving their coaching roles on the show to make way for new coaches Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys. Then, in an update, a source told The Wrap that Gwen Stefani and Williams could possibly return to their coaching roles next spring, but didn’t mention Christina Aguilera at all.

Christina Aguilera has been alternating seasons on The Voice since Season 7, when she briefly left the show to tend to her second pregnancy with daughter Summer Rain (Summer’s father is Christina Aguilera’s fiancé, Matthew Rutler). So, many assumed she would be back for The Voice Season 12. Now, however, that does not appear to be the case, and her alleged feud with Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may be to blame.

Weeks ago, a report by The Hollywood Gossip claimed Christina Aguilera was at war with her co-stars after Shelton convinced himself that she had stolen the spotlight from his girlfriend, Stefani.

Despite the ongoing drama surrounding Christina Aguilera’s exit from The Voice and her possible feud with Shelton and Stefani, she’s remained focused on her first potential win. In addition to posting a photo of her latest look on April 14, Christina Aguilera has shared a number of messages about her team and her positive thoughts about their talent.

Last month, Christina Aguilera hinted a win could be in her future.

Days ago, a couple of members of Christina Aguilera’s team spoke out, revealing why they believed she should win The Voice Season 10.

“[Christina Aguilera]’s been on the show since the beginning. She’s Christina, which gives her that, and I just think it’s her turn and we’re all capable,” finalist Alisan Porter explained to E! News on April 14.

Nick Hagelin, who Christina Aguilera saved after his initial cut, added, “I’ve had two coaches now. Pharrell helped me a lot, but instantly when I got in the room with [Christina Aguilera], she’s a vocal coach. She comes right in, she gives you runs, she gives you ideas and it’s so tangible, her coaching. Pharrell gave me stuff to think about, but Christina gave me stuff I could hold and walk out of that rehearsal knowing what to do.”

“[Christina Aguilera]’s intelligent, she’s great, but if she doesn’t know how to tell you what to do, she’ll ultimately show you how to do it because she’s that great of a singer,” he continued. “I feel like that’s incredible. When you have a coach like that, I just feel like that’s winner material. That’s how you win a competition, when you’re able to take what you know and pass it on to your students. We’re all students in the game.”

As her professional life takes center stage on The Voice, Christina Aguilera’s personal life continues to be demanding as she juggles her relationship with Rutler with her parenting duties to her two children, Summer Rain and Max, whose father is Aguilera’s ex-husband Jordan. Christina Aguilera and Rutler became engaged in February 2014 and have yet to set a wedding date.
