Kobe Bryant Vows To Help Lamar Odom Stay Sober: Lamar Opens Up About Khloé Kardashian, Will Star On ‘KUWTK’ With Rob

Lamar Odom has a special bond with Kobe Bryant. And it was at Kobe’s final game that Lamar finally opened up about his relationship with estranged wife Khloé Kardashian, reported the New York Daily News.

After reports that Odom was seen drinking in a bar just months after he was found unconscious in a brothel following a drugs and booze binge, Lamar received support from Khloé, who at that time put their divorce on hold. But now that Odom has started boozing again, she allegedly plans to finalize the divorce.

Lamar, however, emphasized his closeness with the reality TV star.

“We did talk, you know, everything is (up for) discussion,” emphasized Odom. “We talk about anything. We’ve been through a lot. It won’t ever stop.”

Pub staff confirmed the reports that Lamar had been ordering cognac and mixed drinks at a Sherman Oaks, California bar. In response to his appearance at a bar, Odom contended that the truth of his situation is known by very few individuals.

“It gets tough, especially if so much gets speculated,” Lamar said about the bar photos. “Only a few people know the truth, and I just keep that close to my heart.”

After months in a hospital followed by physical therapy, Odom wants to head back to court, referring to his basketball skills proudly.

“Still got it,” declared Lamar.

In addition to attending Kobe’s final game, Odom participated in a video that honored Bryant, as did Shaquille O’Neal, Steph Curry and LeBron James.

“It’s your little brother, L.O. Just want to tell you I love you. You got a great career. Proud to say I was right there with you. Carpe diem,” said Lamar.

Odom also took his teenagers, Lamar Jr. and Destiny, to enjoy Kobe’s last game at Staples Center, according to TMZ.

Lamar Jr. and Destiny hadn’t seen Odom since they saw him in the hospital late last year. The reunion came courtesy of Bryant, who gave Lamar tickets for himself and the children.

Odom praised Kobe, revealing that he’s learned a lot from Bryant, reported ET.

“He had 60 [points] tonight. He is the world, learned so much from him off the court, on the court, everything kinda translates and life is beautiful,” declared Lamar.

The affection is mutual, and when it comes to Kobe’s feelings about Odom, Bryant wants to do more to help the former Laker player, an insider told Hollywood Life.

“Kobe’s work may be done on the court but it’s just beginning off the court,” revealed that insider. “Kobe’s really invested in Lamar and is vowing to help him get sober. Kobe made the promise to him last night after his final game.”

In addition, Bryant is concerned that Odom might return to his old ways. Kobe has a strong bond with Lamar after 7 years on the Lakers team together.

“Kobe fears Lamar’s in trouble and could easily slip back into his bad habits and nobody wants that.”

How will Odom support himself in the future? Lamar is hadimg back to Keeping Up With The Kardashians along with Rob Kardashian, according to the New York Daily News.

For both Odom and Kardashian, the return to the reality TV show signifies a dramatic change in their lives. Rob had been a recluse for several years, but the next season of Keeping up with the Kardashians includes a filmed reunion with Kris Jenner.

As for Lamar, the reality TV show will show how his overdose affected his life.

“People’s prayers for you, like saved your life,” Kourtney Kardashian reveals to Odom.

Fans can mark their calendars for May 1, which is when the next season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is scheduled to debut.
