Eva Mendes And Ryan Gosling Pregnant Again, Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Also Expecting Their Second Child — Pregnancy Pact? [Rumor]

Hollywood couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are pregnant once again. The Huffington Post reports the couple are expecting child number two as congratulations are in order.

Sources have spotted Eva Mendes hiding her baby bump while posing for a Los Angeles photo shoot in February. Gosling and Mendes’ 1-year-old Esmeralda will be expecting a younger sibling, according to sources.

Huffington Post has already contacted representatives of Gosling and Mendes, and they are awaiting more details about the pregnancy.

Mendes told the Today Show that she was taking some time off from acting after her first pregnancy to focus on family life.

And if sources are correct, Mendes will be extending her hiatus for her second pregnancy. Mendes commented on her first pregnancy with Ryan Gosling.

“If I’m even like, ‘Oh, what should I wear?’ Or, ‘should I do this project?’ All I have to think about is my daughter and her face, and I know the answer immediately. She’s my moral compass in a way.”

Mendes and Gosling first met on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines in 2011. Sparks flew between the two celebrities and they have been dating — and making babies — ever since.

Eva and Ryan have been quiet about their pregnancy so far. Currently, the couple hasn’t even shared many photos of their first child, Esmeralda.

Nevertheless, Twitter exploded in reaction to the news of Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling being pregnant. Some women expressed their dismay of the news, naturally.

Eva Mendes defended her secrecy about being pregnant during her first pregnancy with Ryan Gosling on Ellen.

“All moms will understand, you’re not supposed to tell anybody during your first… well certainly not the world… in your first trimester. My mother didn’t even know yet. So that would have been an awkward phone call. ‘Hey mom did you catch Ellen today?’ Um, oops!”

At the same time, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are expecting baby number two as well. Celebrity pregnancy pact between the couples, perhaps?

Unlikely. However, the timing does seem rather convenient for the two celebrity fathers who also happen to share the same first name.

Sources close to Lively told People Magazine how ecstatic she is to be pregnant for a second time.

“Blake is absolutely thrilled and so is Ryan!”

Reps for the couple gave no comment.

Lively may have also “spilled the beans” on herself during a reshoot for scenes from her upcoming film, The Shallows.

Sources on set say that the actress struggled to hide her bundle-of-joy behind a robe and surfboard. Unlike Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling’s pregnancy, Lively reportedly will not shroud her pregnancy in such secrecy anymore.

Another source close to her claims that she will proudly show off her baby bump during the upcoming Met Gala event on May 2.

Ryan and Lively have also gone on record saying that they would like to have a big family. “I do want to just enjoy this moment,” Lively said.

Eva Mendes’ second baby is announced just as Gosling gears up for his upcoming film co-starring Russell Crowe, The Nice Guys, to be released on May 20.
