Emily Ratajkowski Inducted Into Kardashian Clan After Instagram Scandal

Ever since Emily Ratajkowski joined Kim Kardashian for a nude Instagram selfie, she has been able to crack into the elusive Hollywood club of the Kardashian clan. After building her alliances with Kim, she is now hanging out with other Kardashian-Jenner members.

In a recent Los Angeles runway show, Emily Ratajkowski was seen seated right next to Kourtney Kardashian, hinting that she now has an in to the most exclusive club on the West Coast.

“The preened posers, including Jennifer Morrison, Emily Ratajkowski, Kourtney Kardashian and professional skiier Lindsey Vonn had front row seats at the alice + olivia catwalk show, by designer Stacey Bendet,” reports Mirror UK.

The model showed off her look from the fashion show on Instagram, but chose not to include Kourtney in her picture. Looks like she knows how to take things slowly.

“Model Emily Ratajkowski and Olympian Lindsey Vonn went for white dresses, while Kourtney sported a skin-tight nude dress, paired with a neck chocker,” the same article reported.

The collaboration between Emily and Kim began when they both were criticized for flaunting their bare bodies on Instagram. To make the critics even angrier, they decided to come right out and take a picture of both of them topless in a bathroom.

Emily Ratajkowski captioned the picture, “We are more than just our bodies, but that doesn’t mean we have to be shamed for them or our sexuality. #liberated @kimkardashian.”

To continue that feminist streak, the 24-year-old model has been going braless in some select occasions.

“Emily Ratajkowski enjoyed some retail therapy in a silky blouse with plunging neckline on Tuesday in Beverly Hills, California,” reports Daily Mail. “The 24-year-old model and actress showed her flawless complexion as she carried away several shopping bags. Emily for her shopping excursion donned a nude silk blouse with spaghetti straps that she tucked into high-waisted faded Levi’s jeans.”

Seeing just how comfortable the model/actress is with her body, going braless is probably not a big deal for her.

In fact, when she chose to showcase this particular outfit on her Instagram, she forewent the whole fact that she was not wearing a bra to put emphasis on the cool jeans that she was wearing.

With Kim Kardashian, Emily was accused of being anti-feminist with the work she has done so far in Hollywood. Seeing how she has appeared willing to give into male desires in the Robin Thicke music video, playing the very sexual character in Gone Girl, and more, critics have leapt on the fact that this is hardly a feminist act.

“If there’s anyone here who doesn’t understand the cause, it’s Ratajkowski,” reports the Independent. “She seems to be suffering somewhat of an identity crisis. On one hand she wants to fight against the objectification and oppression of women’s bodies, yet she happily profits from her ability to titillate men.”

But it looks like it will take more for Kim Kardashian to continue uploading nude selfies on her Instagram. Ever since she debuted the picture with the Gone Girl actress, she has not posted a single sexy picture, which is quite unusual for her. Maybe the critics hit a soft spot in Kim!

Or it could be that she wants to take a break from all the “free the nipple” movement that she has spearheaded so far. Just the sheer amount she has done for female liberation may be enough for her to pass the baton to another woman.

“Kim Kardashian recently made waves with two nearly naked selfies that threw the Twitterverse into an uproar, sparking a debate over the 35-year-old mother of two’s decision to share the pictures,” reports Time. “She responded to those who criticized her with a series of tweets followed by a post on her website defending herself against the outrage, and was quickly backed by a group of fellow famous names supporting her anti body-shaming message.”
