Rob Kardashian & Lamar Odom Return To ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ For Season 12: Watch The Trailer [Video]

Rob Kardashian and his brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, are both featured on the upcoming 12th season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

In the just-released trailer for the series’ latest installment, Rob Kardashian makes his triumphant return after quitting the show in 2012. Meanwhile, Odom is also seen as he recovers from a drug overdose suffered in October 2015.

“In the season 12 premiere, Khloé adjusts to her new role as a caregiver for Lamar during his ongoing recovery. Scott continues to do his best as a father and decides to buy a house in Calabasas to be closer to Kourtney and their three children. Meanwhile, Kourtney tries to embrace her new life without Scott as her partner,” reads the official description of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 12, via a report by Hollywood Life on April 14.

In the series’ sneak peek clip, Rob Kardashian is seeing sitting on a couch with his mother, Kris Jenner, in her home in Calabasas, California, while Odom and the rest of the family are seen traveling to Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show in New York City, which marked his first public post-overdose appearance.

Since fans last saw Rob Kardashian on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, he’s been through a lot. In addition to struggles with his weight and depression, Rob Kardashian was diagnosed with diabetes at the end of last year, and has since gotten engaged to the ex-girlfriend of Kylie Jenner’s current boyfriend, Tyga.

As fans have surely heard, Rob Kardashian’s engagement to Blac Chyna, a former bestie of his sister, Kim Kardashian, has been highly controversial due to Blac’s feuds with his family, including sister Kylie, over the years. In fact, the entire family chose to stay silent after Rob Kardashian announced his engagement, and only a few have spoken out in the days that followed.

Rob Kardashian’s fiancée was not seen or mentioned in the sneak peek for the show, and she may not appear on the show at all. Just weeks ago, it was reported that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna were pursing a spin-off series of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which would chronicle their romance, and claimed Blac Chyna wasn’t on board with filming with the Kardashians.

“[Rob Kardashian] and Chyna are hoping for a spin-off,” an insider told People Magazine. “Chyna doesn’t want to film with Rob’s family. They both think a spin-off is the best business decision. They have had meetings and things look promising.”

As for Odom, he will be featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 12 as he continues to recover after an overdose that nearly took his life. As soon as Odom’s overdose was announced, his wife Khloe Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, and sister Kim, traveled to Las Vegas, where he remained in a coma for three days before being transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles.

Odom continued to receive medical care in the hospital until January of this year, at which point he was released and began living in Calabasas near Khloe and her family. Since then, he has remained close to the entire family, and was recently seen celebrating Easter with Khloe, Kourtney, and Kourtney’s kids.
