‘RHOBH’ Yolanda Foster Talks Divorce, Announces Plans For Lyme Disease Book

Yolanda Foster of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has big plans for life after divorce.

Earlier this week, during the finale episode of Season 6, Yolanda Foster revealed she and her husband, David Foster, were calling it quits on their relationship after just four years of marriage, and after selling their nearly $20 million home in Malibu, California, she was seen moving into a new condo in the Westwood area of Los Angeles.

“[Yolanda Foster]’s looking good and she’s feeling better. She’s holding it together,” a source shared with E! News on April 13. “She’s living in the condo and doing well. She leans on her kids for support. They mean everything to her.”

Yolanda Foster and her husband didn’t have any children together, but from Yolanda Foster’s first marriage to Mohamed Hadid, she is the mom to Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid.

During Tuesday night’s show, Yolanda Foster was seen revealing her condo plans to Erika Girardi, her friend and newest co-star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During their conversation, Yolanda Foster admitted that she and David were simply no longer making one another happy.

“We were just two normal human beings that were going through the ups and downs of a marriage while [battling chronic illness,] business, children, step-children, life,” Yolanda Foster shared. “It was just really tough. If you stop making each other happy, you shouldn’t be together.”

Just months after tying the knot on November 11, 2011, Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and ever since, she has been fighting an uphill battle. Luckily, however, after removing a leaky breast implant last summer, she has seen an improvement in her health.

“She’s been saying that she’s ready to move on and get her life back,” our insider shared. “She’s not talking about dating or anything like that yet, just starting the next chapter. She’s looking forward to what’s next.”

Earlier this week, following the finale, Yolanda Foster spoke of what’s next for her, revealing plans to write a book about her ongoing struggles with Lyme disease. While chatting with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Yolanda Foster said she already signed a book deal and was looking for a co-writer to embark on the project alongside her.

On April 13, the Daily Dish shared details of Yolanda Foster’s recent announcement, claiming the reality star and mother of three has been planning to write a book for months.

“I’ve been wanting to write a book, obviously, for four years, but haven’t had the brain power to do so,” Yolanda Foster revealed to the Daily Dish in February. “I’ve documented my entire journey with photographs because I learned today’s world, everything is kind of visual. People don’t really read that much anymore. Pictures really hit home. And it’s funny because the girls on the show kind of judge me for posting a picture with an IV, which is nothing compared to the pictures that I have and the story that I have to tell. It’s very detailed, it’s about all the treatments that I’ve tried, all the different places that I’ve been in the world, but mainly it’s about my spiritual journey that came with this.”
