Are Leah Messer And Jeremy Calvert Feuding? ‘Teen Mom 2’ Divorce Update

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer may be going against the wishes of her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert.

After a report surfaced claiming Calvert would be leaving Teen Mom 2 after production on Season 7 was complete and would also be taking his daughter, Adalynn, 3, off the show, Leah Messer has seemingly announced that Adalynn, and her two daughters, Ali and Aleeah, 6, were under the management of Continuum Entertainment.

On April 14, Leah Messer shared a collage of photos of her three children, two of whom were fathered by her first husband, Corey Simms, along with an email to their representation.

Although Leah Messer didn’t explain why her children were in need of representation or reveal any of their future plans, the management company’s website claims they “create, books, markets and produces live experiences, concerts, and virtually anything that wraps around both emerging and mainstay talent or brands.” They also offer representation to entertainers.

The news of Leah Messer’s post comes just weeks after a source claimed Calvert was planning to remove himself and their daughter from the show.

“Jeremy is over it,” a source told the Ashley’s Reality Roundup in March. “He’s tired of being attached to this show, and now that he and [Leah Messer] are divorced, he doesn’t want to be part of her drama. He’s tired of dealing with all the negativity that comes from him being on the show, too.”

“Jeremy wants Addie out of the spotlight. He doesn’t want her to grow up being known as the kid from Teen Mom 2,” the source continued.

Because both parents have to sign agreements to have their children participate in the reality show, Calvert could easily make it impossible for Adalynn to be filmed. If he does, there isn’t a thing MTV can do about it.

“There’s no way MTV would fight it,” the source explained. “They won’t go to court or anything. It will make it very hard for the film crews, though, if they are filming [Leah Messer] and the twins and Addie is not allowed to appear. They will probably try to throw a lot more money Jeremy’s way to get him to agree though, but that’s the most they’ll do.”

While many would likely bite when it comes to getting more money, Leah Messer’s ex-husband simply doesn’t need the extra cash. For the last several years, Calvert has been working hard as a pipe layer in West Virginia and around the country. For doing so, he is paid substantially.

“He makes an impressive amount of money on his own, so money’s not really an issue for him like it is with some of the other cast members who completely rely on their Teen Mom 2 income to live off of,” the site explained. In fact, “he works all year, so the extra income from the show actually kind of screws him over come tax time.”

In other news regarding Leah Messer and her second husband, the two will soon reunite on Teen Mom 2. During the April 18 episode of the show, Leah Messer and Calvert sit down together at a local restaurant, where they discuss the end of their marriage and what would have happened if they had stayed together through Leah Messer’s rehab stint in May 2015.
